Roles and Responsibilities:
Assemble a variety of products according to standard work instructions and prints.
Operate and set up (as needed), production equipment/fixtures.
Become proficient at multiple assembly tasks while meeting requirements for workmanship, safety and productivity.
Perform preparation work such as line clearance and changeover.
Perform inspection of own and other’s work. Perform simple repairs on own or other’s work.
Mentor others in areas of expertise (as needed).
Properly complete manufacturing documentation. Initiate basic material requests, report quality issues, report efficiency, record measurements as needed. May report work order information into computer.
Maintain the accuracy of identification and count of point-of-use materials. Accurately determine and report material shortages.
Follow all corporate, regulatory, safety and production policies and procedures.
Maintain an excellent attendance record.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write and understand English. Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees, supervisors, or engineers.
Ability to add and subtract multi-digit numbers (including decimals); to multiply and divide; to find averages, percentages and ranges. Ability to determine the minimum, maximum and nominal value when provided with a specification and a tolerance. Ability to perform basic math on a calculator.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. Ability to understand the basic material flow from the stock room to finished goods, Bill-of-Material structure, and cycle counting procedures. Ability to report quality issues. Ability to suggest simple process improvements.
Computer skills: Ability to use personal computers as part of daily work. Ability to use systems (Agile/SAP) to check drawings, BOM structures, procedures, training records is preferred. Ability to use on-line documentation.
Other skills and abilities: Ability to work varying shifts. Must have ability to complete training courses. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to use clocks, timers, calipers, and rulers. Ability to work in a controlled environment room (i.e. clean room), this includes wearing clean room gowns, head caps, booties as well as meeting other clean room standards such as no jewelry or make-up.

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will assemble components of all product lines.
Selects correct tools and fixtures.
Tests all assembled products.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
Ability to read blueprints, component identification, use of pertinent hand tools and rework techniques, equipment operation, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
Use job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers, and bills of material
Maintain production tools and equipment.
High School diploma/Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
Hours: 1st shift available (7am-3:30pm)

Fabricate equipment from schematics per our department flow process.
Receive and follow instructions from shift lead or supervisor.

First Shift - $13-$16/hr
Assembly Technicians are responsible for participating in job-based teams to fabricate and assemble our Energy Recovery Ventilation (ERV) units and accessories according to current drawings and specifications. Adherence to all procedures relating to materials, quality, assembly and testing, as well as all general assembly and company procedures is essential.
Job Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Fabricate ERV ventilation units and accessories according to drawings and specifications
Assure product meets the highest quality standards
Coordinate / cooperate with other assemblers to achieve best overall flow of work on the production floor
Complete all necessary forms including: unit inspection, non-conforming, kitting, part shortage, unit testing, documentation, and engineering changes
Maintain a neat and organized workspace
Adhere to and promote company policies and procedures
Actively identify, suggest and help implement improvements to the build specification, general work spaces, tools and procedures
Search for personal and team improvement opportunities
Promote a safe, pleasant and professional work environment
Qualified applicants will have:
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-3 Years relevant manufacturing experience or equivalent
Mathematical skills that require the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, along with the ability to read measurements in inches and feet
