TITLE: Uniform Security Officer
SCHEDULE:
Mondays 5:30pm-12:30am
Fridays 12pm-8pm
Saturdays and Sundays 7am-3pm AND/OR 3pm-11pm
16-29+ hours per week (part-time)
SCOPE: Uniform Security Officers are responsible for protecting the site's building, grounds, assets, employees, students and visitors against criminal activity, accidents, fires and natural disasters, as well as providing outstanding customer service.
JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must provide excellent customer service when dealing with Clients, Customers, Co-Workers, etc.
Guard posts – this may include building lobbies or reception areas.
Conduct hourly foot patrol of interior and exterior to check entrances, doors, windows and vents are locked and secure against break-ins (includes climbing stairs).
Monitor surroundings on closed-circuit television.
Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas.
Check for employee and vendor identifications.
Look for suspicious persons, packages and activities.
May provide first aid or other medical treatment in emergency situations.
May operate x-ray and/or metal detection equipment where the equipment is deployed.
Must follow site specific post guidelines.
Will report potentially hazardous conditions and items in need of repair including lighting, plumbing, wet floors, etc.
Document daily activities and incident reports.
Officers will NOT smoke while in DK Uniform, on or off duty.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent (some college is preferred).
Must be of good moral character and have the ability to pass a criminal background check, with no felony convictions, and no misdemeanor convictions for criminal sexual conduct or related offenses, theft, assault, illegal substances, multiple alcohol related offenses, or crimes of moral turpitude, is required.
Must be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and annually thereafter.
Must have impeccable grooming (i.e. ability to adhere to our Appearance and Grooming policy).
Must possess above average customer service skills.
Must present a friendly, positive, professional image to Clients, employees, supervisors, managers, and the general public.
Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to solve problems and de-escalate situations in a non-confrontational manner. These include the ability to read and write the English language and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating procedures, maintenance instructions and reports.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to various locations.
Must be willing to become CPR/1st Aide/AED Certified (prior certification is preferred).
Physical Requirements:
Must be physically and mentally sound. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time; walk long distances, including up and down stairs; use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and be able to speak and hear. Must be able to reach with hands and arms, and to hold objects. Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
Must have flexible availability and willingness to work on short notice.

Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Sr. Group Quality Manager provides leadership for Key Customer Accounts, monitors key Customer metrics and develops related improvement strategies to be rolled out across the organization. This role will be responsible for managing a customer relationship to ensure consistency for the customer across all Cooper Standard facilities. Additionally, this role supports North America plants in root cause analysis, managing critical issues, facilitating read across of best practice and ensuring compliance to industry and customer specific requirements. Estimated travel will be 50-75%.
Primary Responsibilities:
Represent Cooper Standard as the senior Quality Representative for defined Customer Account(s), serving as the "single point of contact" for resolution of concerns and acting as the "Voice of the Customer" within the company, while ensuring read across, compliance and awareness with relevant Cooper Standard procedures.
Maintain regular reporting of Customer scorecard compliance and lead resolution of performance gaps to targets across the organization, aligning efforts across functions in a matrixed organizational structure.
For assigned Customer lead, ensure awareness of Customer Specific Quality Requirements and ensure communication to the organization when updates or changes occur.
Drive organization to achieve and maintain GREEN status on Customer assigned scorecards and have an 'expert' understanding of how Customer scores are calculated.
Conduct reviews of open Customer Critical Complaints and 8D's to ensure quality and timeliness of responses, as well as providing coaching to improve problem solving competence.
Provide support, training and coaching to site Quality Managers and plant quality teams for management critical issues, customer/internal audits, product/process improvements and intercompany responsiveness.
Coordinate with CSE, APQP, Warranty and Supplier Quality Managers to promote an aligned Quality effort.
Support adhoc requests for data from the customer portal. It is expected that this position is highly proficient in navigating your assigned customer portal.
May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.
Education and Qualifications:
Four-year college degree with 5-10 years' experience in Operations, Quality, Engineering or a related field required. Advanced degree or equivalent preferred.
Five plus years prior leadership experience preferred, preferably in the automotive industry.
Experience with driving accountability for the performance and results across multiple facilities.
Broad understanding and application of quality concepts, theories and principles.
Certified Black Belt or other recognized problem-solving methodology experience required.
Ability to influence others internally and externally, including senior leaders.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to deliver presentations to all levels of the organization.
Working knowledge of ISO/TS/IATF and Customer Specific Requirements.
High degree of self-motivation and ability to work with various aspects and disciplines of the business.

Responsibilities

Powertrain Engine Calibration Engineer - Associate I
Job Description:
Perform calibration verification tasks and provide summarized testing results utilizing Powertrain development tools set, Excel and or Matlab scripts.
On-road data collection in support of required development data population sets.
Conduct verification testing to ensure diagnostic calibration and software meet functional objectives -- this may be a combination of vehicle and HIL testing and is comprised of inducing and removing faults to ensure MIL illumination / MIL clearing is compliant and operates as expected
Procurement and evaluation of limit parts from hardware design organizations for robustness testing.
Perform transmission adaptation learning, transmission fault clearing.
Update development fleet of vehicles through various pre-production hardware and software upgrades.
Utilize CDA tool and associated tools to complete vehicle scan reports of all modules.
Coordinate vehicles through emission rolls testing including flashing engine and transmission controllers.
Coordinate vehicle build-up and tear-down work orders.
Coordinate instrumentation allocations.
Support vehicle product launch at assembly plant as engine system representative
Support vehicle field issues on as needed basis to collect data on customer vehicles to determine problem resolution.
Requirements:
BSME, ,BSEE, or equivalent from an ABET Accredited University.
Understanding of engine and transmission fundamentals.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint

Min. 6 months of experience in Powertrain Systems Calibration Development, OBD calibration or transmission calibration.
6 month ETAS INCA Tool Experience or equivalent data acquisition experience.
1 yr experience with MATLAB / SIMULINK in controls environment.
