This selected person will be required to perform all functions associated with the checking process which include but are not limited to format, specification compliance, completeness, accuracy, design soundness, ANSI Y14.5 GD&T standards, EPM standards, fabrication, assembly, installation, and interface validity, tolerance analysis, BOM verification, data management, ECRs and NORs. Person should be proficient in the use of CATIA, ProE/CREO, Windchill, and PLM and have expertise in all areas of tolerance analysis, GD&T, electro/mechanical design skills and Pro-E/CREO model checking skills. Basic Qualifications Candidate must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
Person should have experience in design and tolerance analysis, GD&T and basic mechanical design skills. Candidate must have experience in checking Pro/E 3D CAD models and RDD documentation. Position also requires that this person possess a nominal skill level in all Microsoft Office products.
Agility to coordinate and work multiple checking activities concurrently is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a necessity. Must understand importance of program detail schedules and task tracking / reporting.
Can plan and prioritize work appropriate to schedule.
