JOB SUMMARY Under the direction of the Process Supervisor, the Process Assistant assigned to the Roller Mill assists his/her team in cement manufacturing and housekeeping; primarily responsible for checking oil levels and general maintenance of machinery in the plant. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS + Monitor oil and grease usage by each piece of equipment in the Roller Mill area + Assist with kiln repairs + Keep Gas Conditioning Towers clear of build up + Learn plant operations and assist in training of team members + Load alkali dust + Monitor operation of plant to detect problems and react to minimize any issues
Maintain a safe, clean work environment in keeping with MSHA and Company rules and policies + Must clear ATF Certification for handling explosives + Must work a rotating shift + Perform housekeeping duties + Other duties as assigned by Supervisor MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE + High school diploma or equivalent + Must have plant experience or knowledge of Roller Mill(s) and their operation including Reclaimer(s) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES + Ability to operate air lance, jackhammer, shovel, hoe, pry bar, wheelbarrow, broom and hand tools + Ability to operate skid steer loader, forklift and tractor-trailer rigs + Must have a willingness and ability to learn new tasks and operate with considerable focus on safety + Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English (meetings, telephone, & radio) preferred + Work a rotating shift + Must be a self-starter able to work with little or no supervision

Operates the roller by using either rollers or drums to compress/compact dirt, aggregate, or blacktop. The operator may use the vibration component occasionally. Key Duties + Safely operates roller to compress/compact dirt, aggregate, or blacktop to achieve the specified grading and smooth surface.
Reads grade stakes and works with grade checker, laser, or GPS to maintain grade.
Determines speed and direction of roller based on knowledge of compressible material to achieve a smooth grade and/or surface.
Works closely with other crew members using hand signals to coordinate work and ensure safety.
Performs daily inspection and maintenance and ensures that roller is in safe, proper working order including fluid checks and proper lubrication. Reports to shop when roller needs maintenance and repair.
Keeps roller clean and prepares equipment for transport on flatbed when needed.
Maintains orderliness, cleanliness and safety at job-site.

Education and Experience. This position typically is not an entry-level job, as it requires demonstrable previous experience as a Roller Operator. Constant physical effort, including standing, is required during a regular work shift of at least eight hours per day. Employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and to stoop, bend, and crouch as required to perform Key Duties.
Ability to lift and carry, on a frequent basis, at least 50-90 pounds personally, and up to 150 pounds with assistance.
Maintain constant alertness to the multiple concurrent activities of the construction site, including the activities of other employees and contractors, the operation of stationary equipment, and the movement of mobile equipment.
Frequently walk on uneven surfaces, including natural ground in varying weather conditions.
The Operator must be able to climb on and off heavy mobile equipment safely.

- Cintas is currently looking for a Mat Roller. The selected individual will be responsible for ensuring customer carpeted floor mats are properly processed and stored.
After the floor mats are cleaned and dried, the Mat Roller inserts each mat into a rolling machine where they are rolled for easy storage and transportation. Mats are then stored according to color, size or customer logo.
