Automation Engineer (Financial Services)

Our financial services client is looking to hire an Automation Engineer, embedded as part of its San Francisco development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the automation of testing and process tools of clients industry leading algorithmic and quantitative trading platform.
Our client has an in-process initiative to radically reduce reliance on manual test packs, by building an automated testing solution. This involves working with open-source testing frameworks (specifically cucumber-jvm) to provide a bespoke system tailored to the specific challenges of testing electronic trading applications. The Automation Engineer will be a key contributor to this global project.
