Job Description: Sr. Automatic Testing Developer Job Overview: The Software Quality Assurance (SQA) team certifies all functionality aspects of Internet based applications created from the Web Development team for production and front-end utilization. In addition, SQA tests any enhancements to various business applications. The certification is achieved by subjecting each project, bug, or enhancement through several manual testing environments, each requiring their own unique testing methods. Under minimal supervision, the Automatic Testing Developer performs advanced and highly complex testing methods within the Testing, Staging, and Production environments. The P3 team (Power Pathfinding to Product) within the Enterprise and HPC Platform Group develops HW/SW co-designed performance and power management systems for x86 High Performance Computing platforms utilizing Intel Xeon and Xeon Phi processors and next-generation high performance interconnects. High Performance Computing is being used today to meet some of the world's most challenging scientific needs, including: fusion energy, bio medical, and physics research as well as traditional engineering such as aeronautic and automotive engineering. We are seeking an HPC Researcher. In this role, you will explore improvements to processor architecture for better energy efficiency, power-aware scheduling strategies in the context of Workload Managers, and methods of automatic tuning in applications. Your explorations will define features of upcoming processor products and an open source software runtime for energy management in HPC systems called GEO.
