Position Description Provides manual and/or clerical services in related work area. Work may involve strenuous physical activity and/or exposure to the outdoors.

Work is performed under general supervision and is evaluated through observation and results obtained. Major/Essential Functions Must be knowledgeable of the Texas Tech campus and the parking rules and regulations. Assist visitors with locating appropriate parking during their visit to campus. Monitor the flow of vehicular traffic onto the interior sections of campus, limiting access to only those with reserved permits.

Occasional Duties Reserve parking areas for special events (Board of Regents meeting, Chancellor/President visitors, Athletics, Theater or other special functions).

Required Qualifications Completion of High School or the equivalent and two years experience. May require a valid driver's license, with good driving record.

Preferred Qualifications 2 years of customer service experience. Must pass driving background check and be approved to drive University vehicles.

Enjoy interacting with members of the Texas Tech community. Parking industry experience preferred.

Provides exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with luggage as needed and loading/unloading luggage into the cargo bay.

Properly registers and records luggage for identification purposes upon arrival at destination.

Stock necessary restroom supplies (bathroom tissue, sanitize foam, trash bags) in vehicles

Ensure there is coffee and water in the dispenser for customers and keep coffee area clean.
