About T&D: Southern California Edison’s (SCE's) Transmission and Distribution Organizational Unit (T & D) is responsible for planning, engineering, constructing, operating, and maintaining transmission and distribution facilities throughout the 50,000-square-mile territory. T&D is the steward of roughly $19 billion in assets that safely and reliably deliver electricity to 14 million residents via SCE’s 5 million customer accounts.

Position overview: This position will be in the Substation Construction and Maintenance (SC&M) division within Southern California Edison’s (SCE) Transmission and Distribution Organizational Unit (T & D). The successful candidate will provide direct supervision to Test Technician personnel and plan and execute daily work assignments which would include capital, Independent System Operator (ISO) compliance, and repair of electrical equipment. The Substation Test Technician Supervisor will be responsible for interpreting, training, enforcing compliance of corporate safety policies, rules, and procedures; applying department and human resource policies and procedures in the areas of employee discipline, coaching and mentoring, staffing, and equal opportunity for bargaining unit personnel (including IBEW) under his or her supervision.

Typical responsibilities may include: + Completing bargaining unit performance evaluations and appraisals; resolving labor inquiries, disputes, and processing grievances.

  • Researching orders and receipts for materials, tools, and equipment.

  • Performing accounting and tracking functions for record keeping, reports, budgets, crew training, and timekeeping.

  • Directing and dispatching crews for routine and emergency work; record keeping and handling of hazardous materials and waste.

Minimum qualifications

  • Must possess five or more years of combined experience as a Test Supervising Technician, Test Technician, or experience related to the testing, design, evaluation, maintenance, and/or engineering of electric equipment for the power system.

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a valid Driver’s License.

Desired qualifications + A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Summary – Under general direction, organizes monitors, and supervises facility vehicle maintenance operations; performs a variety of technical tasks related to facility vehicles, tractors, heavy equipment and machinery.

Ensure preventative maintenance and proper operating conditions on all company fleet vehicles, forklifts, heavy equipment, tractors and machinery.

The Automobile Club has immediate opening for a Contact Station Relations Supervisor. This position provides field management to contracted Emergency Road Service (ERS) providers in the state of Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi through the employment of relationship building techniques and the effective communication, coaching, tutoring and mentoring of sound business and financial practices, as well as Club service philosophies, policies and procedures.

Successful field management ensures a stable service delivery network providing roadside assistance to AAA members and other customers. Candidate will supervise activities of independent contract stations within assigned field office territory maintaining a regular stations visitation schedule.

Overnight travel is required.

CSR Supervisor evaluates station performance, offer contract renewals and extensions, and implements special action plans as deemed appropriate. Inspect and evaluate station locations, verifying that facilities, equipment, and drivers’ appearance comply with Club policies.

Assist CSR Field Manager with service provider assessments, identifying and recommending corrective measures where appropriate. Investigate, document, and resolve member and customer service issues as required. Oversee redistribution of call volumes, and evaluate performance results.
