We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual who is interested in taking on an exciting challenge and opportunity selling bearings, seals and repair services to end users.
OVERVIEW AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Account Representative responsibility is to develop strategic alignments and relationships with customers and partners, steering and controlling the sales activities in the region with the objective of achieving the PG sales targets. You will have direct influence over the outcome of projects, and at times, will lead specific new unit opportunities. The role will require high motivation, a strong leadership orientation, and excellent communications skills. This is a highly visible position with a great opportunity to demonstrate leadership and success by driving project opportunities. The job duties may require up to 50% travel.
Will report directly to President and Vice President of operations
o Develop and manage project opportunities to achieve the overall business targets
o Lead and coordinate the sales activities in the region
o Build relationships with Key Accounts/ Customers.
o Develop strategies to provide solutions that best meet customer/market/region requirements and specifications.
o Analyze markets to recognize trends, leads, opportunities for the various customer segments.
o Continuously follow up on all sales projects in the region, e.g. opportunity tracking, forecasting to meet financial goals, factory load planning, etc.
o Support the regional team in customer/partner negotiations.
o Supervise the risk management process throughout the complete sales process.
o Give feedback to the Business Units on customer requirements, product improvements, market price levels & customer satisfaction in the region.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
o Sales experience in bearings or power transmission components industry is a MUST.
o 5+ years progressive business experience with (end users - refineries, power plants, petro-chem.).
o Strong English language communications skills (verbal, written and presentation); able to clearly and concisely express information (or data) to non technical associates, peers and management.
o Highly competitive, self-determined spirit.
o Demonstrated track record of exceeding expectations.
o Skills and experience associated with sales activities.
o Ability to effectively network and build beneficial relationships with customers and colleagues alike.
o Aptitude for understanding/negotiating commercial terms and conditions.
o Flexibility to adjust and thrive in an environment with changing requirements, schedules and priorities for multiple projects or assignments.
o Willingness and flexibility to travel (sometimes frequently 50%) to interact with customers and advance opportunities.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
o Sales experience in bearings or turbo-machinery products is a MUST..
o Demonstrated negotiations experience.
o Strategy and Market analysis.
o Excellent business power user IT skills (MS Office, etc.)
o Knowledge of industry products.
