Under the direction of production management, this position works to perform a variety of operational functions that constitute the production of converting equipment, machine set-up, troubleshooting, inspection and distribution of products or services for our customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate, set-up, and troubleshoot a converting machine.
Conduct all tasks safely
Check and meet all customer specifications
Operate equipment within standard operating conditions and follow procedures when conditions change
Verify boxes through the packaging schedule and then orders proper type box through the mezzanine operator.
Complete run reports and enter quality data, production codes, etc,. correctly.
Obtain proper color ink from ink dispenser and reduce/increase viscosity when needed.
Obtain proper amount of sticky back from ink station.
Mount plates according to procedures.
When running a non-taped order, make out tray tickets.
Obtain correct size and type jaws from the jaw room.
When changing orders, ensure the mezzanine operator is aware of the type of boxes needed.
Obtain all supplies needed for an order.
Verify order information.
Quality A visual check of the roll must be done, as well, to ensure there are no defects on the rolls.
Set machine parameters according to standard operating procedures written for each specific job.
Check ink viscosity and fill in specified intervals to ensure print quality.
Download all order information into the DBQ system as well as maintain timely quality checks and reports.
Place stamped box labels onto proper cartons, ensuring proper adhesion to the boxes.
Place the proper pieces of boxes together, using filament tape, before pushing the completed carton out to the warehouse.
Using department guidelines, load all barrier/TBG rolls onto unwind stand.
As a team member, follow all safety, quality, plant GMP and safe food handling rules

NOF IV Bag Packaging Operator
Title: NOF IV Bag Packaging Operator
Nephron Outsourcing Facility (NOF) is a 503B outsourcing facility dedicated to creating the highest quality compounds by maintaining current good manufacturing practices to and above the standards set by the FDA.
Manages inventory of production components and prepares components for batch production.
Counts all IV bags prior to packaging to ensure accountability of all products.
Visually inspects, labels, and packages IV bags into a shipping case after thoroughly inspecting and weighing each bag.
Assists with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required.
Performs other duties as assigned or apparent.
Must be able to stand for long periods.
Must be able to work 12hr shifts. This is a 24/7 operation and will require weekends and/or holidays to be staffed.

SUMMARY: Conducts valve bag manufacturing operations which will result in efficiently producing a finished product on a timely basis that meets all customer product specifications.

Our team is currently seeking a skilled professional to support Production and Hydraulic Press Operator for our fast-paced refractory brick operation in York, PA. Our successful team members are self-starters who can work independently without direct supervision. This position runs a heavy tonnage hydraulic press and robotic system that supports the brick manufacturing process. The presses are the first step in creating our molded brick products.
$21.00/HR + $1.50 shift/$1.60 weekend differential
Following a probationary period, our team members can test into advanced pay levels where the average pay for a Production position is: $24.36 + differentials = approx. $55,000/yr
2nd shift or 3rd shift positions are available; our schedules require some scheduled work during weekends.
Work safely in a heavy industrial facility when performing brick processing work. Heavy physical labor is required in this department and safety is our first priority.
Operate heavy tonnage hydraulic press including setting die/mold in place properly, follow press set up instructions carefully and accurately, ensure robotic systems are set up and in good working order, and perform scheduled preventative maintenance on the press or robotic systems as instructed.
Safely maintain a constant rate of production and alert other departments if there is a need for shut down, delay or maintenance on the press.

3rd Shift Sunday to Thursday from 11PM to 7AM
To read, understand and work from Documented Work Instructions (DWI), Joint Instruction Training (JIT), Flow Charts, Object Lists, etc.
Create and maintain Documented Work Instructions (DWI) as needed.
To utilize Work Sample Boards, Electronic Print Room, Workmanship Standards, Inter and Intra dept. procedures, Electronic Work Orders, and dispatch.
Set up, operate, maintain and perform minor troubleshooting on injection molding machines and support equipment such as sprue pickers, mold temperature controllers, conveyors, plastic resin drying and handling systems, mold dies, computers, etc.
Perform molding process adjustment and troubleshooting to insure products produced are visually and dimensionally acceptable.
Compete certification in Routsis plastic injection molding program annually and complete any other training required.
The mold cell operator runs and maintains the mold machine production. Workers load/unload dies into machines by pushing/pulling the dies on an automated lift device. 55 lbs bags of product are lifted and loaded into the bins, Workers climb portable staircases to gather the product and other items. Several machines are monitored at one time; workers set up the machine using a control panel and other switches/buttons, product is monitored as is fills cases on the floor and the case is dumped as it fills.
The operator changes the presses 1 to 1.5 hours per shift, sorts and assembles parts 5.5 to 6.5 hours per shift.

Responsible to operate converting bag machines in a safe manner and produce quality product with minimal scrap, meet production schedules and keep work area clean. Ensure departmental compliance with all certification requirements (AIB, ISO)
Follow all safety rules and regulations; wear PPE
Read, understand and follow work instructions to produce product that meet standards (production, scrap, quality)
Follow quality requirements to ensure all product produced meet or exceed specifications

Run and catch on a machine or run 2-3 machines with help of an assistant.

Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles.
Operate bagger and debagger stations.
Troubleshoot and minor repair of blow mold equipment.
Monitor empty bottle weights and makes adjustments accordingly.
Train others on blow mold operation.
Maintain communication with other departments, management and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production.
Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible and accurate format, and completed with required information. Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's.

Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
