The person hired for this position will report to the Plant Manager/Production Manager. They will assist in overseeing shift personnel and production flow, provide leadership for their work group and must have the highest working knowledge of the equipment, policies, and procedures.

Three years of Adjuster experience on Weber Lawn and Leaf Bag Machines in a position of similar skill set and level of responsibility.
Working overtime as needed, including Saturdays and holidays.
Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug and alcohol screen.
Will be required to have a set of tools to perform job requirements.

The incumbent supervises and trains the inmate workers involved in repairing and operating utility systems such as air conditioning, heating, water supply, sewage and electricity generation/distribution. This position serves under the immediate supervision of the General Foreman.
Functioning at the journeyman level of the trade, the incumbent supervises inmate crews responsible for the repair and operation of utility systems and equipment. Systems which may be present include but are not limited to Steam producing boilers, Condensate return systems, fire pumps, feedwater systems, and sewage filtering and monitoring systems.
In addition to the efficient operation and maintenance of the institution boilers, air conditioning equipment, water, sewage and electricity generation and distribution, the incumbent is responsible for replacing and or repairing thousands of feet of steel piping, expansion joints and hangers.
Along with all other correctional institution employees, incumbent is charged with responsibility for maintaining security of the institution. The staff correctional responsibilities precede all others required by this position and are performed on a regular and recurring basis.
Occasional travel - Travel may be required for training.

Performs minor and major repairs on marine vessels and all marine facilities.
Participates in painting, pipefitting, carpentry and electrical repair of marine vessels and related equipment.
Performs minor maintenance on all equipment assigned to his use.
Requisitions supplies and materials as needed.
Estimates labor and materials necessary to accomplish repairs as needed.
Oversees work of subordinate repairers and Trades Helpers when assigned to assist in repair work.

The machine repairer/mechanic is responsible for the working side by side with engineers, technicians, operators, team leaders, electrician/millwrights, toolmakers and others to complete all the work necessary to repair/maintain plant machinery and equipment. Repair, rebuild and install plating line product barrels.

Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls
Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment when there is a problem
Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components
Perform tests and run initial batches to make sure that the machine is running smoothly
Detect minor problems by performing diagnostic tests
Test malfunctioning machinery to determine whether major repairs are needed
Adjust and calibrate equipment and machinery to optimal specifications
Clean and lubricate equipment or machinery
Move machinery and equipment
Understand the function and operation of tool room machines and work with tool makers to determine proper work process if necessary.

What you will do:
The Bag Line Operator is responsible for making archery bag targets in a fast paced, assembly line environment. This includes filling the bag according to the weight specification, operating the press, utilizing a hog ring gun to close the bag, and labeling, boxing and palletizing the finished product.
What you need to be successful:
Ability to lift an average of 35-50 lbs frequently unassisted and up to 70 lbs occasionally, assisted.
Be able to stand for long periods of time (10 hours per day)
Operate a pallet jack following training
Understand and follow all required work instructions, including safety policies
Above average attendance and a positive attitude
