Machine Operator Bakery Manufacturing
Cookie and Batter filler Machine Operator in Bakery Manufacturing. The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, learning and performing minor maintenance on complex production equipment as required by the department within established time standards. Trained and compliant with Lock-out / Tag-out procedures and allergen policies. This position will assist in the production and packaging of baked goods through the effective use of electrical/mechanical equipment by performing pre and post operational inspections of the equipment to assure safe and proper operation. In addition, the operator is responsible for communication with the supervisor for problem prevention, identification, correction and any product quality issues. This position will also document equipment information. Other duties include cleaning of equipment and surrounding work areas. This crew produces baked goods. This position is generally expected to work less than 30 hours per week.
Must be a reliable self-starter, willing and able to learn new responsibilities and work without direct supervision. The ability to successfully work as part of a team is essential.
Must have a safety and quality-conscious work history.
A proven mechanical aptitude for making precise adjustments on production machinery to ensure proper operation is preferred.
Good math skills are needed to accurately calculate product usage.
Physical requirements include lifting 30 pounds, bending, twisting, reaching, walking, repetitive wrist movement and standing for full shifts. Must also be able to withstand strong food odors and hot temperatures.
This is a safety sensitive position, subject to initial and follow-up drug testing.

Precision Machine Tool Mechanic - Machine Maintenance
Safely work with minimal supervision on precision machine tools in an industrial environment. Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and evaluate machine malfunctions. Perform repairs, modifications, and overhaul of lathes, mills, multi-axis mill-turn, broaches, precision grinders, numerical control machines. Repair, renew, and/or replace bearings, shafts, gears, and reassemble, and functionally test precision machine tools. Level, lay, scrape, and flake beds and ways to exacting and coordinated tolerances.
