Segregate, shred and bale all waste paper and corrugated.
Saw, shred, and bale all security product.
Grade bales by type and load onto waste trucks.
Perform all necessary daily equipment checks and preventative maintenance.
Perform daily housekeeping of bale room and surrounding areas.
May Load, unload, or handle hazardous materials or wastes and prepare hazardous materials or wastes for transportation, including preparation of shipping papers.
Manage self development by seeking opportunities to improve skills and knowledge, participating in company sponsored training and development programs.
Actively participates in safety programs, follows safety policies and procedures and maintains a safe work environment.

This is manual work in construction and general maintenance activities. As work experience is gained, employees may be assigned to somewhat more difficult tasks. Work is performed under the direction of a supervisor who issues general instructions for routine jobs and specific instructions at the beginning of each new job when departures are made from established procedures.

The incumbent will be accountable for maintaining the highest level of service of approximately 3000 miles of Sewer system of various pipe sizes and types. Incumbent will develop processes and best practices for optimized Inspection, Cleaning and Repair planning in order to minimize the occurrence of Sanitary Sewer Overflows and blockages. Incumbent will ensure field crew performance, and provide resources necessary for problem resolution. Set up, adjust and operate a variety of auxiliary binding machines containing several cutting heads, control surfaces or other attachments (i.e. inkjet and mailing devices, case making & decorating equipment, folders, cutters, collators, stitchers, drills, binding/gluing machines and/or set up automatic bindery machines containing multiple functions and station capabilities (power paper cutters, power collators and gatherers, power folders, power speed binder) which can be electromechanically combined with other equipment and devices to produce a complete bindery and finishing unit that processes printed sheets into final books, catalogs, manuals, directories, magazines or other completed products. Inspect equipment for safety issues. May operate automatic adhesive binding machines (perfect binders) that contain numerous interrelated process stations that are fed collated sheets or signatures and perform such functions as vibrating, milling, roughening, gluing, covering and delivering or stacking completed books, magazines or catalogs. Make needed adjustments to coordinate the multiple work stations on a single machine. Direct crew though all aspects of production. Monitor quality, output and productivity.
Working knowledge of the set up, adjustment, procedures, capabilities and limitations of equipment to perform the full range of standard and specialized folding, collating, and cutting of printed materials to complete a finished product. The Sample Sewer will construct all types of garments for product development purposes, e.g. concept, fitting, quality test, wear test, construction examples, for Nike Swim. Construct sample garments for sales and marketing purposes. The Sample Sewer will report to the Director of Technical Services and will assist the Technical Design team to produce a product that fulfills the brand's vision and consumer needs.
