Job OverviewUnder general supervision and guidance from Automation Team Leads, Shift Supervisors, and Technicians the Automation Machine Tender supports the operation of the Automation equipment. The machine tender is responsible to start and stop the equipment and tend to routine equipment alarms and faults. The Automation Machine Tender is very aware of safety procedures and strictly adheres to all safety, manufacturing, Quality and Continuous Improvement policies and procedures. The work performed is fast paced requiring movement from station to station for the majority of hours worked. Firm or fine grasping or manipulation with both hands is required. Performs quality assurance analysis during machine operation to prevent defective product from being produced and potentially reach the end user. Supports the Water Spiders daily with ensuring material flow and material traceability remain in control at all time. Main Responsibilities
Start and stop the equipment and tend to routine equipment alarms and faults
Maintain and follow 6S (Workplace Organization Standards).
Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Manufacturing Procedures, and other regulatory requirements at all times.
Work in a fast-paced environment communicating and interacting with automated equipment and other team members during the work period
Produce product that meets quality expectations
General cleaning as needed: Keep equipment clean and free of misc. parts, empty trash, clean work area daily, clean shop equipment, sweep, mop, wipe down area
Perform Water Spider duties and support other water spiders with material handling and work order change overs
Supports the automation technicians to ensure targets for safety, quality and productivity are met or exceeded
Must be a team player with strong communication skills
Works in a team environment with all levels of the organization
Attend daily production meetings and shift hand off meetings to ensure good communication and pass downs
A high level of engagement is expected; this means that Machine Tenders are expected to work on improving themselves by working on training applicable to their position.
Engagement on 7 steps, and improvement events is expected so that the Machine Tender can provide input to implement containment actions and countermeasures to resolve quality, or process issues.
May be asked to perform other tasks as required.

Load rolls of paper onto automatic splicing unit of web offset printing press. Inspect rolls of paper for blemishes or tears and cuts away damaged area with knife. Roll paper into loading position on automatic splicer, insert shaft of automatic splicer through roll core, secure holding chucks of automatic splicer to shaft ends, and thread paper through press components to prepare press for printing. May assist with some of the make-ready tasks associated with the type of press operated such as hanging plates, examining plates, prepping and installing blankets, adjusting tension etc. May clean press and clean and install press components to maintain press in working order. The Tender is assigned by the Diving Supervisor or designated diving person in charge. Performing sub-sea tasks and assisting the Diver when necessary.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provides topside support for diving operations.
Perform maintenance and repair of topside equipment and DDC operations.
Perform topside and underwater rigging.
May be required to perform sub-sea tasks utilizing commercial diving equipment.
Knowledge of equipment uses, repairs, and maintenance is needed.
Assist the diver in dressing, entering and leaving the water, and undressing
Confirm that the diver's equipment is functioning properly and inform the diving supervisor that the diver is ready.
Prepare and support the dive until its completion.
Support any in-water decompression as required.
Tend the diver's umbilical (keeping at least one hand on the umbilical at all times) and be aware of the diver's depth and location at all times.
Set up and operate all equipment as directed by the diving supervisor, D/T or his or her representative.
Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on diving equipment.
Repair such equipment as he or she is qualified to check-out to repair.
Assist in topside work as required or directed.
Be alert for and immediately report conditions that may be hazardous or unsafe.
Maintain certification in first aid and CPR.
Properly operate a decompression chamber as required for decompression or treatment as directed.
Maintain communication with the chamber occupants.
Properly complete all paperwork as required by employer policy and/or governmental regulations.
Do not perform any other task while operating the chamber.

Report to the diving supervisor any recent medical treatment or illness so that a proper determination can be made concerning fitness and/or ability to dive.
Immediately report all symptoms or suspected symptoms of DCS to the diving supervisor as early and accurately as possible.
Report to the diving supervisor any defect or malfunction of the diving equipment provided for the diving operation.
Maintain a commercial diver log book documenting all hyperbaric exposures.
Read, understand and comply with all employer's policies and applicable governmental regulations, as they relate to their qualifications or performance while engaging in diving operations.

Tender Application Specialist II
Handles technical and commercial Insides Sales and Customer Service functions for assigned account responsibilities which include direct customers, distributors and resellers. Receives, evaluates and processes inquiries and purchase orders in to ensure accuracy against customer requirements based upon agreement guidelines and / or guidance from Direct Sales personnel. Employees are required to maintain molten metal supply in the melt room and holding furnaces at the die cast machines safely and efficiently to support the production requirements and to assure the proper alloy is provided for the parts being cast.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Keep the holding furnaces on the die cast machines full of proper alloy of metal and at proper temperatures. This process, called hauling metal, must be done in a safe, efficient, and timely manner as to keep production running at all times while minimizing costly mistakes such as overfilling furnaces, overfilling ladles, spilling metal, letting furnaces run too low on metal, mixing alloys, etc.
Keep transfer (bull) ladles properly cleaned and heated.
Keep scrap hoppers emptied and identified.
Daily chipping, cleaning, fluxing, and skimming of breakdown furnaces. This also includes Striko Holding Furnaces.
Keep alloys separated. This applies to all metal including that which is stored, in any furnace, or in scrap form.
Cold clean and repair of breakdown furnaces. This includes jackhammering, cleaning, forming, ramming, casting, painting, etc.
Charge metal to breakdown furnaces in such a way as to keep them full of the proper alloy metal and at the proper temperatures. Metal is charged in form of sows, ingots, castings, and ingredients.
Routine and proper cleaning of all die cast holding furnaces.
On Striko Furnaces clean fill funnels and pouring spouts. Coat as needed.
Keep area around furnace clean.
Perform alloy changes in any furnace properly.
Run spectrometer including cleaning, profile, standardization, and routine analysis.
Properly handle all department paperwork including labor cards, production sheets, check sheets, metal hauling sheets, barcodes, audit logs, furnace cleaning sheets, scrap cards, flux/dross cards, etc.
Properly handle paperwork, sampling, and barcoding of all incoming metal/materials.
Daily inspection paperwork and safe driving of forklifts.
Keep all melt rooms and work areas clean as well as tools/supplies neat and organized and put in proper locations.
Work in a safe manner and report unsafe conditions/hazards immediately.
Wear required personal protective equipment.
Capable and willing to work overtime.
Participate in training programs deemed necessary by the company.

Develop and maintain a database of player data that can be used for advanced R&D functions.
Interface in a technical manner with internal prototype labs and internal testing labs.
Organize the physical measurement and testing of prototypes and samples for performance, quality, and conformance.
Investigate key design parameters and their relationship to product performance through conducting outdoor machine testing.
Work with senior engineers to develop new innovative tools for golf ball applications.
Work within company systems for documentation, communication, and work routing.
Document and present project findings, status, and timelines in project reviews / summaries.
Maintain awareness of other R&D projects and contribute as necessary.
Other responsibilities may include:
Collaborate in varying capacity with our remote Golf Ball production manufacturing teams.
Maintain a pool of golfers of varying skill levels to utilize for testing.
Occasionally, create and conduct surveys for golf ball users to understand feedback, needs, and habits.
Occasionally, measure and evaluate competitor's golf balls for performance, construction, and general technology.
Occasionally, assist with patent applications to internal legal department to protect Intellectual Property that may be generated.
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Knowledge and experience utilizing engineering fundamentals, design of experiments, and testing methods.
