ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Package product into boxes off of moving conveyor belt system
- Conduct rework as needed
- Assemble tops, lids, and pumps onto moving bottles
- Palletize boxes according to standards
- Visually inspect product; make sure they are clean, un-damaged, and properly printed with correct expiration and lot codes without compromising the speed of the production line
Qualifications must include:
- Must be dependable and able to function independently with desire to succeed in a fast dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
- Have strong hand/eye coordination and be able to keep up with the fast pace of the production lines to ensure maximum efficiency for the department
- Have good manual dexterity and the ability to lift up to 25lbs repeatedly.

11:30pm The Packer is responsible for hand or machine packaging of product, inspecting finished product and packaging; and transporting product from the production area to the staging and/or shipping area. Essential Job Functions of this role include:
Makes or forms correct product boxes
Packages and packs product by hand on a high speed machine
Packs acceptable product and packages as appropriately defined in customer/quality profile
Removes, discards or reworks product that fails to meet specifications in accordance with process
Attaches identification labels to finished packaged items
Accurately counts and records finished and rejected items
Keeps the work areas clean, sweeps, washes, removes waste and record its, as appropriate
Properly fills out and maintains production paperwork
May perform other duties as required.

Keeping all egg cartons, sleeves/flats, cubes, cases and open pallets clean and free from contamination to ensure the highest food quality and food safety.
Report any problems to Processing Management.
Perform all other tasks that are requested by management.

POSITION SUMMARY: The purpose of the Packer is to pack finished high quality frozen egg products in cases according to customer specifications. The packer fills and folds omelets and prepares them for freezing; monitors and picks off defective egg products that do not meet customer specifications. Sort and pack frozen egg products according to customer specifications while keeping pace with machinery and the conveyor system.

Work in teams ensuring that the conveyor system does not back up and become jammed with product
Rotate to different positions during shift.
