This is a DIRECT HIRE and GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY, and Machinist will be responsible for operating high end Lathes machines, producing sophisticated, complex parts, working very tight tolerances for OEM's, medical, transportation, energy and aerospace applications. We are seeking key talent to work B shift (and may have A shift positions down the road), to include overtime (50 hours a week) to operate Swiss lathes type machining experience, multi-axis, double spindle, live tooling who would like the opportunity to learn and grow. Our client will consider other types of machining experience as well as long as they are a good match in their other skills. Any experience with changing out tools, offsets, and edits helpful, G-code and Fanuc Controls.

Proficiency with multi-axis, or twin spindle, any Stars, Citizens, Guildemeisters, or other Turning Lathes experience a plus.

Selects, aligns, secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machinery.
Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media.
Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as required and reports problems to supervisor as necessary
Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications and stops production if any part that is detected to be out of specification
Will confer with Machine Shop Supervisor to resolve machining problems.
Produces daily production reports, inspections and other reports as directed by supervisor
