Responsible for providing exceptional customer service from the moment guests sits down until they leave the establishment. Display great hospitality, friendliness, and complete food and beverage knowledge. Responsible for money handling, beverage pouring, and dispensing policies as well as providing servers drinks at the service well.
Essential Tasks &
Check patrons' identification in order to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages and following safe drinking guidelines when serving customers.
Prepare needed set-up for bar.
Maintain an accurate inventory of the bar including counting beer, bottled liquor, wine, cups, mixers, sodas, general bar supplies, etc.
Accurate cash sales and cash handling.
Close out every check once it has been paid.
Assist in the set-up and break-down of bar equipment as needed.
Serve and/or sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Maintain a pleasant attitude while on duty.
Inventory all stand sheet items prior to and at the end of each event and initial all bar paperwork.
Calculate cash at the end of shift and return bank to the cash room.
Any other task assigned by management will be considered part of the job.
Opening and closing duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Extensive knowledge of advanced mixed drink recipes and restaurant point of sales computer systems.
Must be TIPS certified.

Lounge Bartender PM Shift
The Lounge Bartender will take orders, prepare and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic beverages and light meals to guests, courteously and efficiently according to hotel specifications. He/she also will maintain stock/supplies and cleanliness of outlet and equipment. Open and serve wine/champagne bottles.
Answer outlet telephone within 3 rings, using correct greeting and telephone etiquette.

Remove soiled wares from tables to dishwashing area.
Present guest checks and process payments through the Bartender/Cashier. Adhere to all cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
Extend courteous salutations when guests leave outlet an invite them to return.
Clean and reset tables immediately after guests depart.
Clearly communicate last call at designated closing time to guests.
Collect and report tips at the end of assigned shift.
Use all chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and Hotel requirements.
Complete closing side duties: a) Properly store all reusable goods. b) Remove snack bowls from tables. c) Remove all items from tables; place clean items in designated areas; wipe clean all surfaces of tables. d) Restock supply cabinet. e) Secure all storage areas.

Responsibilities Works under the supervision of the Beverage Manager who issues instructions on procedures
, methods and deadlines, relies on incumbent to assure work assignments are carried out by other members of the bartending crew. Supervisor assigns work schedules and provides job standards, performance appraisals and leave approval. Serves as a working leader of three or more employees in accomplishing bartender work. The highest level of non-supervisory work led is Bartender NA-7405-05. Follows established procedures in operating a full service bar, mixing and serving the full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Ensures there is enough work to keep everyone in the work crew busy. Works with other bartenders, setting the pace. Assist customers by discussing beverages available, their content and mixing special drinks according to customer direction. Records sales, makes change or prepares charge slips in accordance with operating procedures. Keeps records of quantities of beverages dispensed and submits requirement for re-stocking to supervisor. Uses tack and courtesy to deny further sales to persons whose conduct has become unruly or who appear to be intoxicated.
