Sr Operator – Delaware Basin E&P Operations
This position is located in Anadarko's Delaware Basin as a member of the E&P Operations Team in Kermit, TX.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following minimum qualifications.
Minimum 5 years' experience in oil and gas production operations preferred
Knowledge of oil & gas operations (Artificial lift, Compression, pipelines, measurement etc.)
Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical principles
Familiar with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Cygnet, PDC, and I-Maps
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations required

Daily communication between operators, IOC, and Foreman.
Gather liquid production information by gauging production tanks.
Evaluate daily production estimates to identify production shortfalls that may be related to equipment problems, leaks or spills, theft or changing well conditions.

Ensures that local loss prevention programs are in place to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local environmental, health and safety regulations that govern the oil and gas industry. Ensures record keeping requirements are met, including the OSHA 300 logs, DOT accident register and accident / injury reports.
Assesses and assists with division tracking of accidents / injuries, environmental compliance issues, DOT physical renewals and annual driver license reviews.
Partners with other functional leaders to ensure that safety sensitive messages are in place and effectively communicated in new hire orientation training programs.

Participates in division OSHA, DOT compliance, Health Department, and RRC inspections as well as audits that may occur.

Maintains and updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).

The Completions Product Line Sales Manager supports General Area resources and builds capability to proactively and strategically sell Weatherford tools, technologies and services within the defined Product Line segment. Participation in field service calls, as required, at customer sites. Will require overnight stays from time to time.

Some travel will be required.
EDUCATION: Associates degree in Instrumentation or 1800 hours of technical schooling is required.
Knowledge of analyzing, evaluating, diagnosing, and resolving equipment and process related problems are necessary.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer relation skills are a must.
Personal computer experience necessary.
Normal office and shop environments as well as frequent customer site trips, involving driving company vehicles, climbing, and manual dexterity work. Repeated lifting of items up to 25lbs.
