Key Performance Objectives (not an all-inclusive list of duties/expectations)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Experienced in steel fabrication and welding of detailed parts, preferably strainers,
Experience with machining and fabrication tolerances, and weld symbols,
Familiar with pipefitting, team oriented, and safety standards,
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in steel fabrication environment.
Able to read blue prints, and have a working knowledge of different weld processes, including:
GMAW, FCAW, OXY- FUEL, SPOT WELDING. OXY FUEL CUTTING, PLASMA CUTTING.
Equipment Used (Includes, but not limited to)
Welding machines, burning equipment, overhead cranes, forklift, sheer, plasma-cutting machine.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS Work is performed in a sheltered warehouse (shop). The warehouse is not climate controlled; therefore, one will be exposed to typical Houston seasonal temperatures and humidity.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Serve in a customer service role for the City pools by providing validation of membership passes, daily passes and other entry desk skills. This position is responsible for the cleanliness of the pool and surrounding areas and other maintenance tasks as assigned.
Work Schedule: Typical schedule varies each day. Typical hours Monday through Friday include mornings (starting at 8:30 am), afternoons (starting at 12:45 pm), and evenings (starting at 6:00 pm), and Saturday and Sundays 12:00 pm - 6:30 pm with additional hours during special events as scheduled. Pools open the Saturday, June 9, 2018 and close Sunday, August 19, 2018. Additional hours will be required for training and facility prep before the pools open for the season.

The Grader will inspect and rate uniform shirts and/or pants for wear in accordance with location policies and standards. The position involves repetitive motions over the entire shift including walking, standing and repeated bending, stretching, twisting and lifting. Grade and pack pre-finish hardwood flooring
Inspects and grades finished hardwood flooring on table, and/or moving belt, for defects such as knots, stains, decay, splits, faulty edges, pitch pockets, wormholes and defective milling.
Removes unsatisfactory pieces from conveyor or table and places pieces on stacks, in bins, or on carts for re-manufacturing.

A Motor Grader Equipment Operator typically performs a wide variety of tasks, transferring from one task to another as the work flow dictates.

SUMMARY: Grade flooring according to Grade rules. Separate flooring by grade and mark defects to be cut according to the cutting rules and nest and putty graded pieces onto buggy while producing a grade standard of 5% or less in defects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Responsible for following Job Safety Analysis guidelines to assure safe operations
Grade flooring according to Product Specification Form (OPS-QA-SP-00051)
Mark defects according to cutting rules
Use correct cutting rules to cut Tavern from First Grade when possible
Separate dark from light colors for variation in color for the finish line
Putty all open character on boards as needed leaving no putty on bevel
Stack graded boards neatly in buggies with all boards butted firmly against each other with no gaps and oriented in the same direction
Remove and place boards back into system for rework in accordance to grade specifications
Move throughout the line to assist other graders as needed
Help in other areas when required
Keep area clean and wood off floor
Help train other graders
Perform other assigned tasks as needed
Successful applicants will meet the following requirements:
Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 10 lbs.
Must be able to pass a drug test, employment verification/background check
