Basic Purpose- The selector position is a material handling, labor intensive job which processes work orders in the warehouse by manually selecting the correct products from the racks, palletizing them. The position is responsible for delivering the merchandise to the dock secured and shrink wrapped for delivery in a safe and efficient manner.
Considerable strength and endurance is required to safely and successfully perform the job. Employees in this role have productivity standards they must meet. The work takes place in normal warehouse environments as well as in cooler and freezer areas where the temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees. Description-

Perform all pre-shift duties including warm up and safety checks on all equipment. Selects customer orders from pick slots using pick lists of assorted items to build orders according to driver stops at customer locations.
Delivers merchandise to correct dock area, stacks items on pallets according to driver stops at customer locations for next day delivery and shrink wraps palletized orders. This involves riding a pallet jack, moving products from racks to pallet, labeling the selected cases with the order labels and using Voxware Voice Logistics Software. Validates that correct product has been selected and is damage free.
Notify Stocker of empty or short slots for replenishment. Work in multi-temperature areas as assigned. Meet weekly standards for productivity and accuracy while working in a safe manner.
Performs various post-shift duties that could include: Clearing aisles of all debris, returning pallet jack to charging area, and hook up jack for battery charging. Stacks empty pallets from slots in aisle.
Clean up any spills and places damaged product in recoup area. Completes any related paperwork. This is a night shift position; Sunday through Thursday (including holidays) and possibly Friday.
Finish time is when work is completed and could require overtime with or without notice. Attend all required company meetings and adhere to all safety practices and company policies. Ensure accuracy of work and adherence to production and safety standards
Use a headset or pick sheet to find individual items within warehouse
Remove case(s) of product from storage rack and place on pallet

Move pallet on an electric pallet jack until full or order is complete

Description Position responsible for performing all duties around stacking and storing product that comes onto the 2nd Floor Track Rooms from production. Primary responsibilities include:
Storing, hauling, and inducting pallets in the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS).
Preparing product for storage in the ASRS by stacking, wrapping, and labeling pallets.
Ensure compliance to Food Safety and Quality programs and processes.
Report when necessary to all calls to help stack product entering the freezer and sorter jams on the conveyors.
Stocking the Track Room with pallets, pallet pads, wraps, and labels.
Complete all job duties in accordance with safety procedures/policies, verbal instructions from Freezer Leadership, best practices, and work documents such as: Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Works, and Talking Points. Scheduling of asset calibrations and subsequent process management of the site specific calibration team, including Standards related to pipette calibration.
Maintaining calibration records for GxP and non-GxP assets, including operating within Maximo and Pipette Tracker (or client software as required).
Coordinate asset pick up and drop off.
Coordinate and create asset tracking and calibration schedules and on-demand calibration requirements.
Coordinate asset calibration schedules with pipette owner or user.
Identify and document assets that are found to be out of the established specifications.
Cross site record retention and archiving for all assets.
Entering/removing new and/or inactive assets back into the calibration control program.
Schedule any on-site calibration activities where mobile/temporary calibration team will be mobilized.

CUMBERLAND FARMS - STORE SUPPORT CENTER Job Category: Warehouse Description: The Freezer Selector is responsible for picking a variety of products from the warehouse freezer inventory and preparing orders to be shipped to retail stores.
