JOB SUMMARY: Weighs and mixes dry and liquid ingredients to make batter to produce pancakes and waffles. Dumps ingredients in mixing machine and monitors in order to ensure formula and consistency; releases batter to the cooking lines and regularly cleans work area.
Tends machine that mixes ingredients such as salt, flour, eggs and soda to produce batter according to formula.
Weighs and mixes ingredients in mixing tank.
Hands stirs mix with 3' long spatula.
Records information regarding ingredients and timing.
Receives instructions from Cook in person or on telephone regarding the mixes needed.
Records temperature of mixes.
Must be free of identified pathogens spread by infected persons handling food such as Hepatitis A, Salmonella typhi, Staphylococcus aureus, etc.
Must understand and follow safety/Food safety (SQF)/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards at all times.
Mintain timely and regular attendance.
Must be able to work overtime to meet production deadlines.
Must be able to rotate to position of Production Specialist.
Responsible to report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
Other production specific duties as needed.

Production Bread Mixer
The Bread Mixer is responsible for the mixing of dough's for various products such as cakes, cookies and cupcakes.
Checks production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to mix.
Measures ingredients, using industrial measurements, quarts, pounds, ounces.
Mixes ingredients to form dough or batter by hand or using industrial mixer.
Cuts dough into loaves or desired shapes.
Must maintain professional appearance at all times and comply with Health Department regulations.
RequirementsMust have at least 2 years experience as a Bread Mixer.
Excellent Math skills
Thorough knowledge of baking ingredients.
Continuous interaction with co-workers in a fast-paced work environment.
Exposure to various food allergens throughout the production facility.
Working in a cold environment.
Standing and walking for 4-6 hours at a time.
Frequent motions such as standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, lifting and reaching.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and memos.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as a department manual.

Body Shop-Paint Mixer
Properly formulate all refinish coatings including primers/undercoats, base or color coats and clear coats as directed by paint suppliers technical data support documents for each product
Provide properly matched (OEM spec) refinish color products in "ready to spray" formulas to painter, utilizing all color tools provided by paint supplier (i.e., spray out cards, vehicle production data, chip cards, etc.).
Mix only the amount of refinish products (primer, base and clear) required to cover repair/refinish area and limit waste, using paint suppliers "mix-management system". P
Properly clean and maintain, in proper working order, all paint formulation and spray application equipment (i.e., paint guns, mixing system, computer equipment, etc.) as directed by management.
Update all paint supplier color, technical data and MSDS material as received.
Assure paint area (i.e., booth, prep station, etc.) and paint mix/storage rooms are clean and all refinish products are stored as directed.
Manage, order and inventory refinish supplies to meet production needs. Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health and compliance procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such.
Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence. Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor, i.e., may spray paint vehicles if necessary, etc

Compounder Mixer is responsible for the overall housekeeping in the compounding area and assisting the production operators with tank and line rinse outs. Education & Experience:

Oncology Pharmacy Technician/Chemotherapy Mixer
Assists with the preparation of medication orders by compounding and admixing medications under the supervision of a physician. Checks all orders for completeness of information.
Verifies patient information and proper physician authorization. Under direct supervision, admixes drugs as ordered by physician in an accurate and timely manner as per department guidelines, and preparing all drugs within OSHA guidelines and interoffice guidelines. Calculates correct dosage volumes, converting between metric and apothecary equivalents.
Properly disposes of all materials used when mixing chemo or non-chemo IVs. Performs quality assurance activities as assigned. Assists in keeping accurate temperature logs, accurate logs on all protocol drugs and patient assistance drugs.
Maintains proper control documentation of medications including lot numbers, ordering of medication and medical supplies. Assists with required cleaning and maintenance of the admix area and the pharmacy department in general to minimize particle counts and improve overall sanitation. Responsible for drug inventory an ordering. Insure accurate date entry into the EHR and Lynx System.
High School Diploma and at least three years experience in pharmacy
