The Scaler is responsible for correctly scaling and weighing the proper ingredients for the specified dough mixture that is scheduled for production in the Mixing department.This position exists to ensure the utmost quality of all products being produced and packaged at the plant.
Check the schedule to determine the ingredients and the amounts needed to be scaled/weighed during a shift.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
Receiving inbound and outbound trucks utilizing a computerized system to record the supplier identification data, quality data, and the truck weights
Inspecting incoming loads to ensure quality wood specifications and recording the data for each load received at the mill
Providing support for on-going safety and housekeeping processes
Working with logging contractors and foresters to assist in correcting wood and fiber quality issues
