Battery Cell Applications Engineer
Overview NO RECRUITERS OR THIRD PARTY AGENCIES The Cell Applications Engineer is responsible supporting customers in the direct use of individual A123 battery cells and also for High Voltage and/or Low Voltage battery pack assemblies. Responsibilities include: compiling customer technical requirements; translation into internal engineering requirements; driving those requirements into the design organization (internal and external). The Cell Applications Engineer also acts as the primary engineering interface with the customer with respect to A123 battery cells. Responsibilities

Collect customer requirements, evaluate compliance, and note areas of non-conformance and/or opportunities for requirements modification
Develop battery performance specifications
Create battery pack Interface and Control Documents
Release battery pack engineering documents, drawings, etc. into corporate system
Create and manage pack DVP&R
Support manufacturing plant in resolving build issues related to pack design
Support customer integration efforts through appropriate means, such as conference calls, data log analysis, and travel to customer sites
Coordinate activities of engineering teams to resolve issues
Develop and maintain realistic project milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools
Track and report project status
Proactively manage changes in project scope
Ensure team follows established development processes
Contribute to process improvement activities
Follow and improve upon best practices and tools for project execution and management Qualifications
BSEE/BSME and 3+ years of automotive engineering experience
Solid trouble-shooting skills; Shainin problem solving experience a plus
Working knowledge of engineering tools such as CANalyzer and CAD viewers
Experiencing with creating DVP&Rs and DFMEAs
Experience in releasing products
Experience in working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
Flexibility during times of change.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong interpersonal, including customer interface skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in an occasionally high-pressure environment
Experience with Electric Vehicles and/or low voltage/high voltage systems a plus

We are seeking an FUEL CELL ASSEMBLER to become an integral part of our team!
Schedule: Monday through Friday: 8am-4:30pm (minus 1/2 hour lunch)
- Primary responsibility for fabrication and assembly components for use in electrochemical systems, assisting in laboratory tests and various other activities.
- Must be comfortable handling chemicals required for hardware fabrication processes.
- Will be Safely operating drill presses, punch presses,& other manufacturing equipment to assist in the assembly operation.
- Conduct quality inspections on products and parts and maintain proper documentation.
- Perform prescribed preventive maintenance on machines per P.M. charts or logs.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Perform all work in accordance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications/ Experience:

Manufacturer in Mentor, Ohio is seeking an Cell Technician / Assembler for their 1st shift. The Cell Technician is responsible for performing a variety of simple to complex assembly and test functions with minimum supervision.
This position operates the required testing equipment to ensure readings and recorded values are accurate and meet all specifications. All position need to bring steel toe shoes-boots.
Freezer position to bring sweater & beanie to keep warm. We'll provide Jacket, pants & gloves.
