The Plastic Assembler – Basic position is the entry-level title for an associate working in the Fabrication Department. In this position the team member is learning the basics of plastic assembly while actively pursuing next level qualification and certification.

Administrative Medical Assistant
The Administrative Medical Assistant is responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, reviewing new patient registration and entering patient information into the practice's designated system. BS or MS with minimum of 8 years of experience and knowledge in formulation development for batteries or other energy devices
PhD with minimum of 3 years of experience in electrode formulation development
Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to combine theory with empirical observation
Fluent in rheology techniques, coating characterization techniques and with experience in setting up battery testing experiments
Experience in glovebox operation and ability to conduct experiments in a dry room environment
Strong organizational and project management skills
Familiar with both aqueous and non-aqueous formulation systems
Familiar with both bench top and roll to roll coating and calendering tools
Experience with the cell assembly, cell testing and data analysis processes
Hand on experience in materials characterization techniques, such as IR, Raman, SEM, XRD, optical microscope is a plus
Knowledge in both inorganic and polymer based solid electrolyte development and testing is a plus
Experience in electrolyte development is a plus
Experience in lithium metal battery development and lithium metal anode research is a plus

What You'll Do:
As the Plastic Injection Molding Process Engineer, you will plan, manage, coordinate, and perform optimization and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and layouts/expansions to continually enhance and automate the areas.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
You will plan, manage, coordinate, and perform optimization of the manufacturing processes as it relates to machinery, molds, and tooling to continually enhance output of the areas while staying within the budget and timelines.
You will develop process instructions for the cell groups, with the Engineering team, ensuring they meet equipment and tooling standards. You will provide second tier training for employees on new work instructions in a way that is easy to understand and follows the processes.
You will troubleshoot, discern, and implement the best solution to equipment/tooling obstacles with Maintenance and Product Managers that will maximize output, while meeting budget and downtime constraints.
You will consistently review how the machines operate and the plant layout, and work with the Maintenance and Engineering departments to optimize the areas.
You will partner with cross-functional teams and other team members to maximize continuous improvement projects and new product development processes that meet cost and delivery times.
You will continually work with Engineering and vendors to ensure optimal purchase, use, and creation of machinery and tooling.
You will research items that will be purchased to ensure the best capabilities and value, as it relates to new parts, equipment, tooling, or outsourced work.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred. Would consider a combination of coursework and experience.
Experience: 5+ years of implementing engineering and manufacturing projects/processes within an injection molding manufacturing environment.
Excellent planning, prioritizing, and organizing skills are required to work effectively in this role. Also requires solid math and problem-solving skills to effectively enhance the manufacturing areas.
Technical Aptitude/PC/Other: Intermediate Microsoft Office experience required. A working knowledge of ERP Systems and familiarity with 5S and Lean Manufacturing is preferred. Knowledge or experience with computer-aided drafting (CAD) would also be a plus.
Excellent business writing and communication skills are required to plan, partner, and train with others both inside and outside of the organization.
