The Consumer Brands Division marketing & product management organization is responsible for establishing and executing the go-to-market product strategy of the division. Product Management is responsible for overseeing products as they relate to idea creation, product development, and market implementation. The Manager, CBD Global Battery Product Management - Handheld Products will have primary responsibility for developing and maintaining battery platforms and the respective product portfolio and annual assortment that enables the division to grow sales, gain market share and improve profitability specifically within the "handheld" categories: chainsaws, blowers, string trimmers and hedge trimmers. Additionally, s/he will work with global wheeled product management team to insure battery platform decisions work effectively for their development plans. S/he will be the bridge between the market and CBD's battery product development process. Be the battery product expert within the organization; provide points of differentiation vs. competitive offerings that can be leveraged by marketing & sales.
Assume global platform ownership of CBD battery platforms, along with the product management directors , including management of associated intellectual property portfolio.
Ensure training for sales organizations and coordinate samples and other relevant materials to ensure the successful selling of assigned products. Participate in customer meetings as appropriate.
Ensure product specifications are accurately captured in master data warehouse. Work with Directors of Product Management to establish pricing on a global level. Provide key product criteria to operations to ensure accurate item setup in all relevant systems.
Drive the Husqvarna Product Creation Process to support efficient development processes and interact regularly with PMO and engineering teams to ensure projects remain in scope.

The Battery Technician position is a full-time hourly position reporting to the Facility Maintenance Manager. They are responsible for the maintaining all equipment batteries, Forklifts, reach trucks set down pallet jack-tuggers and golf carts. DC Battery Maintenance Technician Weekend Shift (Fri-Sun)
The DC Battery Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing periodic maintenance, repair, replacement and limited troubleshooting on batteries; in accordance to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes. Must be safety conscious to avoid being injured by acid, fumes or electric shock; and must understand the risk of chemical explosions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Interpret and understand plans and specifications, schematics, operating and maintenance manuals. Perform required tasks in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures, rules, and safety procedures.
Ensure all protective equipment is worn at all times when working with batteries (face shield with splash guard, safety glasses, apron and acid-resistant gloves).
Ensure all safety/hazardous precautions are followed for battery changing procedures, battery washing procedures and neutralizing chemical spills.
Responsible for all distribution center batteries, which includes monitoring and trending, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. A daily checklist must be maintained and complete.

This position is responsible for knowing the published Dropped Battery and Chemical Spill procedures in the case of an incident in the battery changing area. All spills must be reported to the supervisor on duty immediately. This position is responsible for monitoring the availability of all the necessary Chemical Spill equipment and materials and informing his/her supervisor if new equipment or materials are needed. All PPE, materials, and safety equipment must be maintained in a clean and working condition.
Responsible for the safe, accurate loading, unloading, storage, and retrieval of vessels while consistently maintaining productivity standards as well as safe handling of battery equipment and charge stations.
Verifies inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
Perform daily inspection of Yard Truck and RF equipment and audit per shift.
Coordinate the delivery of all vessels to their assigned door to meet the scheduled Appointment Time.
Operate all equipment safely and efficiently as required.
Perform proper procedures for maintaining the radio frequency equipment, yard equipment and battery station area.
Communicate daily with Manager on all spills, malfunctions, damage, etc.
Conduct operations in a manner, which promotes ongoing compliance with all sanitation guidelines.
Ensure that Outside Carriers do not violate established cleanliness or safety policies.
Responsible for housekeeping of general warehouse areas, docks, equipment, office and break areas, yard, parking lot, and yard truck.
Assist as required and act as backup at times of absence or vacation.

Who we are looking for•The Colleague must be able to operate standard yard vessels, containers, trucks, etc.
Industry experience preferred; not required
It is preferred that the Yard Driver have a California State Class A Driver's License and maintain that license in good standing but not required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Analytical and organized
Ability to work independently
Experience and familiarity with material handling, yard vehicles, vessels, trailers, containers, and radio frequency equipment.
Must possess excellent time management skills
Ability to perform well with time-sensitive tasks
Team player attitude
Basic skills to use Word, Excel, ( Microsoft Office ) and Microsoft Outlook)
Ability to lift a minimum of 65 lbs
