Vehicle Dynamics Performance Engineer - Pacifica, Challenger, & Charger
The Vehicle Dynamics Performance Engineer's primary responsibility is to achieve the vehicle team's functional objectives, determine appropriate targets, and lead ride, handling, and steering development of vehicles. This individual will work with a cross functional team and serve as a lead engineer to specify components for tires, steering, and suspension in order to meet program performance targets, using a combination of simulation, objective testing, and subjective methods. A Day in the Life:

Battery Technician (771)
Under the direct supervision of the Shop Supervisor or Service Manager the Technician is responsible for performing battery watering, cleaning in accordance with pre-determined schedule, periodic maintenance - repair cables, connectors, watering system, battery cell replacement and troubleshooting on various models of material handling equipment batteries and chargers with record keeping. Must be able to input data into computer or document paper work that is required. Perform all job requirements in accordance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures and Safety Procedures. Maintain service and support with material handling equipment batteries and charges at the internal customer locations in a timely and cost-effective manner so that customer requirements are met.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance on material handling equipment batteries and chargers with manufacturer's guidelines/specifications and established timelines.
Perform routine cleaning and watering of all batteries in accordance with pre-determined schedule.
Replaces battery cells and completes cable and inter connector replacements as needed.
Able to troubleshoot and diagnose material handling equipment battery and charger components.
Ability to operate forklift equipment without supervision.

The Electrified Powertrain Traction Battery Cell Application Engineer is responsible for the complete V-cycle development for the traction battery cell. The Engineer is also responsible for confirming that the cell meets the defined requirements prior to delivery to the customer. The selected candidate will be responsible for the identification for all applicable cell requirements from sources including: vehicle functional objectives, COE, regulatory, functional safety and diagnostics; documentation of the identified requirements for the cell in Component Functional Technical Specifications. City of Bakersfield Police Officer Trainee candidates will need to obtain a score of 48 or higher to apply for the Police Trainee position when the recruitment opens.
