The facility in Geneva, IL is seeking production associates to fill multiple utility positions.
Non incentive employees can earn up to $20.87/hour plus shift differential.
Incentive employees earn $14.79/hour plus shift differential and earn incentive potential on top of their base wage. The plant average earnings for an incentive employee is an average of 140%, or $23.00/hour.

Production associate duties include:
Adhere to all safety standards including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirator)
Perform set up of machines (including calibration and clean up) to exact specifications and ensure material is loaded properly
Know how to perform all functions on assigned production machines, including controlling and adjusting machine settings, feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines
Assemble battery components by wrapping them in protective material
Perform all production processes in a timely manner to meet goals
Verify that product meets quality standards and keep records of approved and defective units
High School Diploma or Equivalency required
Must be able to work all shifts up to 12 hours, as overtime may be required due to production demands and staffing shortages
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Basic computer skills required
Ability to read and understand all production specifications required
Ability to neatly and accurately record required data
Fork lift or material handling experience preferred
Warehouse or Manufacturing experience preferred
Inventory experience preferred
Machine troubleshooting or repair experience preferred
Successful Production Associates must be willing to learn new things and work in a team environment to get the product out in a safe and timely manner, while meeting quality standards.

3Rd Shift Truck Stacker
The Outbound Truck Stacker is responsible for ensuring orders are being loaded on the appropriate truck in a timely manner.
Floor loading ground parcel truck by hand to ensure space is being utilized properly
Ensuring packages are loaded on the correct truck in a quick and productive manner
Using a manual pallet jack to move large items from the packing room to the truck for loading
Handling completed orders appropriately to avoid excessive damage costs for the company
Safely operating and maintaining warehouse equipment to carry out job duties to ensure a safe work environment
Keeping work zone clean and orderly to ensure a safe and efficient warehouse environment
Communicating with warehouse assistant shipping supervisor with any issues or concerns that arise regarding work duties
Performing other duties and tasks not listed as requested by both the shipping and assistant shipping supervisors
Must be able push and pull up to 150lbs
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 to 75lbs
Must be able to constantly bend, squat, reach, climb, and stand throughout shift
Must be able to work inside of a truck in varying temperatures

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Load assigned machines with correct product.
Assist machine operator in labeling of corrugated.
Remove machine waste and load into baler.
Pull wire if needed.
Perform housekeeping duties to insure department and company standards are maintained.

Entry Level General Laborer
Identify the sort numbers for the carts you are responsible for. Pull boards into the correct carts according to the sort numbers on the boards.
Pile the boards with the following criteria:
Top, bottom and outside boards will be the longest
All edges will be free of knots, wane, writing and other defects
Bundle must be square with edge boards against the pipes of the cart
Build each bundle until full and finish off with a nice top layer
Push out finished bundle for forklift to remove
Lumber Stacker Laborer Education & Experience:
Previous experience as a warehouse worker preferred
Previous experience as an entry level worker is preferred
Previous experience working on a farm is a plus!
High School degree preferred, but not required

Properly stack output of each machine with the correct configuration, quantity and banding for transportation to the next area. Must understand and carry out customers instructions regarding number of pieces to place in various bundles.
Learn to recognize defects in quality of moulded products and possible causes.
Understand terminology used in the work area.
Distinguish between repairable products and those unusable.
Repair usable defected products with wood putty and/or spackling..

Count pieces in stacks to determine when bundle is complete. Check for quality of product.

The Stacker Hand is an integral member of the James Hardie Building Products team, responsible for working with machinery, our product, and other employees to create high quality fiber cement building products. This position works in roughly a 20 foot area and is one of the most important positions for quality control on our production line. If you have an eye for details and love a fast-paced environment. The Stacker Hand will become intimately familiar with our stacking equipment and will be responsible for identifying stacker-related issues that impact product quality and completing the appropriate paperwork. You will work closely with other production line operators to ensure we get the best quality of product with minimal interruption.
