Assemble boxes according to schedules
Package expandable polystyrene bead
Ensure boxes are marked appropriately
Follow proper procedures of equipment operation in a safe manner (SOP)
Report any inconsistencies of product to the Operator, Lead Operator, Production Supervisor, and/or Manufacturing Manager
Take samples, complete packaging documentation, and transport to Quality Control Lab
Assist the Operator/Lead Operator as needed with the following duties; visual monitoring of the production lines and reporting any necessary maintenance needs
Stack skids, boxes, and damaged skids neatly
Apply steel bands to skids when needed
Discard trash and cardboard per Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
Clean and sweep as required or scheduled
Comply with Dart Container’s policies and procedures
Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:
Six (6) months prior factory or manufacturing environment experience
Six (6) months forklift experience
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Ability to provide on-call and call-in coverage as needed
Demonstrate minimum proficiency of the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality matters
Maintain excellent communication with employees, management, vendors, and customers in both written and oral form
Math skills to include; simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work effectively in a plant environment
Ability to work well individually and as a team member
Possess basic computer skills including end user of web/internet navigation and other systems relevant by position
Demonstrate strong time management skills along with establishing organizational processes
Perform duties in accordance with established safety procedures
Ability to conduct all job duties in a confidential manner

Builder Assistant - California
This position is primarily responsible for assisting Builder or Builder Senior with all on site activity to complete homes on time and within budget.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Studies specifications to plan on basis of starting and completion times and staffing for each phase of construction.
Assists in the coordination all on site construction with Builder supervision including daily interaction with Division departments and city inspectors.
Inspecting work quality and completeness and ensuring prompt and accurate submission of invoices.
Conducts daily physical inspection of each house to determine progress and to ensure staff and subcontractors comply with Company safety and quality control standards as well as any agency standards; oversees completion of walk through items.
Ensures staff and subcontractors follow Company and Division construction, quality control and safety methods and procedures; resolves complaints and grievances within work force; resolves customer problems.
Assists Builder in adjusting personnel and equipment resources as needed to resolve construction problems and to avoid delays.
Ensures systems are up to date for each house so they can provide timely and accurate progress reports.
Assists Builder with on-site trailer area, all under construction home sites, completed unsold home sites, vacant lots and community as a whole, such that all are kept clean and marketable at all times.
Performs other duties assigned by supervisor.
Education & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in construction related field/equivalent experience preferred.
Three to five years of practical construction experience with portion of experience accumulated as subcontractor, but strong track record managing large projects as Builder must be shown.

Certified in first aid and CPR preferred.
Technical Knowledge & Experience
