2 yr. Degree in related technical field and five years tool and die experience or a combination of education and experience.

Must have Oxy / Acetylene Spray Welding Experience.
Experience with reading blueprints and drawings.
Ability to use all precision measuring devices.

Designs and builds complex automated assembly equipment using CNC mills, lathes, gringers etc. Will work off of prints and when needed will design the tooling in Solidworks. Some travel may be required to support tooling being sent to other locations.

MOLD MAKER - Seeking skilled journeyman mold maker to repair and maintain all molds/tooling and build spare parts for production and maintenance. This is a full-time, direct-hire, 1st shift opportunity. Build and repair all types, sizes, and shapes of rubber injection molds with the ability to assemble and test complex tools and molds in the production phase. As a Mold Maker, you will be responsible for utilizing all mold shop tools/equipment and interpreting 2D/3D drawings for the fabrication, maintenance, repair, and engineering changes on company injection molds and mold parts. You will work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and improve mold performance, as well as maintain and perform periodic maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, optimize, and modify highly engineered, premium quality injection molds
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair tooling problems on the production floor.
Identify and implement tooling improvements
Operate equipment including, but not limited to: welding, manual lathes and mills, surface grinders, and bench tools.

This occupation requires the layout, planning, sequencing of operations and construction of various molds for production and for experimental tools, assembly, and drill fixtures, and dies which are made of materials such as phenolic resin compounds, fiberglass, masonite, metal, and other materials such as: master plaster forms and mockups, plaster check forms, and plaster patterns and patterns for the casting of aircraft parts, machinery parts and tooling and of elastomeric/composite tooling materials systems to include mandrels, sub-bladders and bladder bags and other related systems; and the assistance in the development, product improvements and tooling applications of such systems.
Prepare plaster or other forms to be used as molds for the construction of tools, assembly, and drill fixtures, and dies of the more simple nature, following established procedure. Take plaster splash from pattern and prepare less complex mold according to specifications for pouring of thermosetting plastic compounds and/or use as forms for lamination of fiberglass.
