Leading by example, the Retail Sales Associate (Full-time) will provide exceptional service to our Customers and Sales leads over the phone as well as to walk-in Customers.
Recommend appropriate unit sizes and services based on each Customer's needs.
Understand and explain the leasing process to Customers.
Sell merchandise including packing / moving supplies and insurance to protect our Customers' goods.
Operate a Point of Sale (POS) system and take payments.
Conduct daily visual and space audits of entire facility as well as perform lock checks.
Prepare and make daily bank deposits.
Submit all property invoices for payment.
Process daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports.
Make collection calls on delinquent accounts.
Coordinate and conduct auctions on an as-needed basis.
Provide coverage to other facilities when necessary.
Perform property maintenance both inside the facility and on the grounds including; sweeping, changing light bulbs and removing debris in units. Some facilities also require light landscaping.

The successful Retail Sales Associate (Full-time) candidate will have:
A high school diploma or equivalent; college education is a plus.
A minimum of three years of Customer Service and/or Retail Sales Experience in retail industries such as, but not limited to, department stores, supermarket, warehouse, specialty, convenience, discount, and also hotel and restaurant.
An energetic, outgoing, customer oriented personality.
Strong communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.
High level of ownership, accountability, attentiveness to detail, and initiative.
Demonstrated computer knowledge including operating a Point of Sale (POS) system is preferred.
Ability and willingness to tend to the property by performing light cleaning including sweeping, dusting, changing light bulbs, and removing debris in units.
Valid driver's license and insurance with access to reliable transportation used during the work day.
Note: You must have a valid driver's license, the ability to work Saturdays and Sundays, and successfully complete post offer background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle/moving violations record check.

Administrative Specialist I
Description of Work
- Salary Range - $31,200 - $48,058 - GN06
This position is assigned to the Division Four, District Three Office. The primary function of the Resident Engineer's and District Engineer's Office is to oversee the administration of all structure and roadway construction in Johnston and Wayne Counties.
This office serves as a central contact point for construction issues regarding highways. Answer all phone calls and direct calls accordingly. The position is required to independently handle and perform a variety of office support tasks, which include: track inventory equipment, materials, and supplies and enter requisitions and purchase orders in SAP, create and maintain files for each construction project, enter road closings in TIMS, maintain payroll records, weekly reports for construction personnel.
Functions include a diversity of records, reports, and filing activities, public contact, office equipment operation, and composition. Prepare and maintain records and reports, and other general office duties. Good communication skills are necessary.
Preferred: Applicant trained and experienced in the use of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SAP and Hicams. Must have a valid NC Driver's License. Applications must be received no later than 5:00 pm on the closing date of the posting.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies

Ability to use judgment in coordinating and monitoring office procedures and workflow as required by this position.
Use courtesy and tact in performing contact and communication duties that may be sensitive in nature. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Temporary Services Aide - Recreation Program
The PARCS Department is looking for creative, caring and enthusiastic individuals who want to utilize their talents and skills to positively impact the social, physical, emotional and cognitive well-being of our community.
Neighborhood Parks Recreation Leader: Incumbents assigned to the Neighborhood Park Program will work at a city park providing various recreation services and activities for youth and adults, e.g., arts & crafts, sports, fitness, drama, dance, group games, tutoring, snacks etc.
Minimum qualifications required: High school diploma or GED equivalent, basic knowledge of recreation activities and working with various ethnicities and age groups.
Youth Sports Coach: Youth Sports include indoor and outdoor soccer, basketball, volleyball, flag football and t-ball.
Basic knowledge of each sport is recommended but not required. Patient, enthusiastic, interactive and friendly coaches are needed to teach young children ages 3 -6 and 7-12 the fundamental skills required to play each sport.
Skateboard & BMX Parks Leader: Incumbents assigned to the Action Sports Program will monitor Mosqueda Bike Park, Lions Skate Park and Todd Beamer Concrete Park.
The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge and experience with the Action Sports culture, park etiquette, teaching instructional classes, first aid methods, and working with various ethnicities and age groups. Minimum qualifications required: High School diploma or GED equivalent and basic knowledge of recreation activities.
Summer Camp Leader: Camp Leaders must be able to communicate and work effectively with staff, parents and participants and be able to provide program leadership, implementation and participate in specific planned recreation activities.
Staff will assist with set-up and clean-up of all activities, assure that children are well supervised and following the rules and regulations for the safety of all. Incumbents must enjoy working with children ages five to twelve years. Prior experience working with youth is preferred.
Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule
Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Staff work schedules vary according to specific program operations, assignments and needs.
Neighborhood Park Leader: Monday-Friday 3:00-7/8:00 pm., Saturdays 12-5:00 pm
