Machine Operators And CNC Operators
First Call Staffing, Your 1st Call, has openings in Beech Grove, IN. Beech Grove is centrally-located and just a quick drive from Greenwood, Indianapolis, Shelbyville, Edinburgh, Greenfield and Columbus.
We need reliable, hard-working, self-motivated machine operators who are committed to safety, teamwork, and sending quality products to customers.
Most lathe machines are Okuma lathe or Mazak lathe
We also have maintenance and tool crib attendant positions, so anyone with experience in these

- Ability to CNC set-up / change over rod machining lines;
- Ability to change permanent tooling as needed for machine crashes and / or tool wear;
- Ability to check rods for dimensions per checking methods and make off sets as needed;
- Ability to perform tooling and work rest alignment as needed;
- Ability to perform machine repairs and / or obtain assistance from maintenance as needed;
- Ability to participate in APM and 5S activities;
- Complete dimensional / quality checks on running lines to ensure part quality;
- Make required off sets to keep parts in tolerance, targeting nominal dimensions;
- Keep area and equipment clean and organized per 5S standards;
- Complete rebuilding and maintaining of tooling for Rod lines;
- Complete any required PMs generated for CNC Set-up Techs for assigned areas;
- Other duties as assigned by Immediate Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineer or Manager on an as needed basis.
Advanced understanding of machining and the ability to use small hand tools. Ability to use measurement equipment, including but not limited to: calipers, micrometers, height gauges and etc. Past Rod Department experience or manufacturing experience preferred/ Ability to quickly identify machining surface deficiencies and / or defects and apply appropriate countermeasures. Ability to change machine over to different product and verify quality. Good communication skills and ability to work well with other associates is required. Must be able to complete production paperwork and some computer work. Must be able to maintain a clean and neat work environment.
Must be able to be on feet for long periods of time. Bending, kneeling, and squatting are required to perform tasks, This position requires a lot of hand tool work, light repetitive lifting and some medium lifting to 40 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
Most of the time is spent in a normal manufacturing environment. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to be worn anytime when on the manufacturing floor. Ear plugs, safety glasses, and safety toe footwear are required in this area. Special attention to work environment and areas surrounding the equipment is critical.

- Experience and Requirements
A successful Satellite TV Installer/Technician will have the following:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High energy, being resourceful, and strong multi-tasking skills
Basic computer skills; basic electronics and/or audio/video knowledge is helpful.
Strong customer service skills; friendly, approachable and motivated with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity.
Ability to stand for long periods of time on a ladder, lift over 70 lbs at times, crawl into small spaces, work in all climates and remain within the individual weight requirement of 335 lbs.
Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays and evenings.
High school diploma or GED preferred; college or technical/vocational school a plus.
Must possess a valid driver's license in the State you are seeking employment in, with a driving record that meets Employer's minimum safety standard.
Cable industry experience is a plus.
Our Home-Based Satellite TV Installer/Technicians are required to have the following:
Minimum 5’x5’x10’ covered and secured area at technician residence.
Computer with broadband internet.

Your CDL-A truck driver career will really take you places when you join Tyson Foods' team.
One day off for every 6 days out on the road plus you’ll be paid for nine holidays at $130 per day.
Tyson Foods offers CDL-A truck drivers great pay and benefits and enables them to earn consistent pay to provide for their families. We have been ELD ready since 2011 so our solo truck drivers average 2,600 miles per week with E-logs, with an average salary of $62,000 per year.
Solo CDL-A truck driver pay for 0–1 year of verifiable experience starts at $.41 per mile. With 1+ years of verifiable experience, you can start at $.43 per mile. After one year at Tyson Foods, truck drivers receive a $0.01 per mile increase up to top pay of $.49 per mile.
One day off for every 6 days out on the road plus you’ll be paid for nine holidays at $130 per day.
