Performs operations including wire wrap, soldering, inserting components on circuit boards, positioning and fastening parts by crimping, soldering, epoxying, bolting, or hand staking, tinning, riveting, bonding and welding. Other duties include bead blast, cleaning and forming parts, labeling, stenciling, marking, key pinning, masking/unmasking, wrapping and unwrapping parts, wire prep including forming and lacing, wire stripping and/or dressing and wire continuity tests. Supports microcircuits in assembly.
Operates machinery such as robots, auto crimpers, riveting machines, punches, drills, cleaners such as EMC or Detrex, ovens, furnaces, and computer driven label and marker printers. Basic Qualifications Experience with assembling and integrating parts to create subassemblies. Must be able to follow and retain both verbal and written instructions.
Experience performing and demonstrate skill and ability to complete operations using hand tools and understanding basic measurement concepts. Must understand and maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Experience in a team environment accomplishing related results as required.
Qualified candidate must have a high school diploma or GED. Personal or Professional experience with using computers and/or computer software. Due to our continued expansion here in the US, we are currently seeing a motivated individual to aid our transition from product assembly in Europe to here in Florida.
Nature of work:
The successful candidate will be required to work under minimal supervision and take responsibility for all aspects of assembling our CCTV switching and camera equipment form PCB level upwards
Due to the niche nature of our business, most assembly runs are small and variable, so flexibility and multi-tasking is essential.
It is also anticipated that there will be occasions where the successful applicant will be required to speak with our customers to offer telephone technical support, therefore a professional and clear telephone manor is required.
We are aware that our products are unique, therefore the person we hire will be required specialized training with our head office CCTV staff for 2 weeks. A Valid US passport is necessary.
Key Duties and
Assemble CCTV Products, i.e. PTZ Camera assemblies, thermal imaging cores, video switchers etc..
Perform tests on completed products and prepare shipments.
Perform fault finding diagnostics on warranty returned products.
Where appropriate, perform repairs to CCTV products including stripping down and replacing PTZ camera components to PCB level.
Take responsibility for the timely replay to customers technical support requests.
Be prepare to travel to trade shows, end user visits and occasional overseas trips when required.
Keep accurate records of all work processes, both electronically and written down.
Essential Qualities and
High School Graduate
2 Years’ experience in CCTV assembly or installation.
Thorough knowledge of low power electronics.
Thorough knowledge of low power electronics.
Proficiency in soldering.
Experience in electronic test equipment.
Current Florida Driver’s License Holder.
Current US Passport Holder.
Computer Literate, knowledge of windows and particularly IP camera set up preferred.
Able to work on own initiative.

Remuneration and Career Path:
This is the start of a migration from manufacturing from the UK to Florida so hopefully our first technician will stay with us for as long as possible and end up (progress permitting) as the head of our US technical manufacturing dept. Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each) 100% - The Bench Machinist will complete / check / rework and deburr sheet metal and machined parts, assemblies and extrusions using various types of machines and mechanics’ hand tools (manual and pneumatic). The successful individual will determine dimensions, angles, tolerances and finishes by interpreting information from planning documents, drawings, blueprints, manuals and engineering orders.
Layout hold locations, constant radii cutouts, stepcuts, seal grooves and mold lines.
Select, setup, and operate power, hand and computer controlled tools to complete missing machining operations or to rework and repair damaged or improperly machines parts fabricated from various metals, ceramics and composite materials.
Machine, drill, grind, file, ream, turn, face, tap, cut lap and mill sheet metal and machined parts, assemblies and extrusions to require shape and dimension.
Setup and operate roto-finishing equipment to grind, hone and polish, selecting proper abrasives, compounds and liquids to achieve required finish.
Verify accuracy of parts, assemblies and extrusions prior to company inspection using precision measuring instruments.
Record manufacturing data manually or with the aid of a computer.
Requirements High School graduate or equivalent preferred and 3 years of related experience using hand tools, reading and understanding blueprints and specifications, using borescopes and videoscopes.
Experienced in rigging and overhead cranes.
Experience in the use of a ½ mask or full respirator and the ability to navigate comfortably through computer supported systems. US Citizenship required. Summary: The Bench Engineer will be responsible for testing semiconductor RF products using instruments like Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, Power Meter, Oscilloscope etc. In addition, they will be responsible for understanding the customer product specifications, designing and assisting in the layout of bench boards. Machining Bench Hand
The primary responsibility of a Bench Hand is to remove burrs on metal parts that were created by machining operations. Burrs are removed using pencil grinders and small files. A Bench Hand is trained to remove only the burr, so the operation is most delicate and only a minute amount of metal is removed from the edges of holes, slots and scallops.
