Machining Bench Hand
The primary responsibility of a Bench Hand is to remove burrs on metal parts that were created by machining operations. Burrs are removed using pencil grinders and small files. A Bench Hand is trained to remove only the burr, so the operation is most delicate and only a minute amount of metal is removed from the edges of holes, slots and scallops.
- Must be educated and trained to read and interpret the operation drawings.
- Must be able to operate all deburring tools including air operated pencil grinders, narrow belt
sanders and a variety of small rotating type grinding wheels and hand files.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each) 100% - The Bench Machinist will complete / check / rework and deburr sheet metal and machined parts, assemblies and extrusions using various types of machines and mechanics’ hand tools (manual and pneumatic). The successful individual will determine dimensions, angles, tolerances and finishes by interpreting information from planning documents, drawings, blueprints, manuals and engineering orders.
Layout hold locations, constant radii cutouts, stepcuts, seal grooves and mold lines.
Select, setup, and operate power, hand and computer controlled tools to complete missing machining operations or to rework and repair damaged or improperly machines parts fabricated from various metals, ceramics and composite materials.
Machine, drill, grind, file, ream, turn, face, tap, cut lap and mill sheet metal and machined parts, assemblies and extrusions to require shape and dimension.
Setup and operate roto-finishing equipment to grind, hone and polish, selecting proper abrasives, compounds and liquids to achieve required finish.
Verify accuracy of parts, assemblies and extrusions prior to company inspection using precision measuring instruments.
Record manufacturing data manually or with the aid of a computer.
Requirements High School graduate or equivalent preferred and 3 years of related experience using hand tools, reading and understanding blueprints and specifications, using borescopes and videoscopes.
Experienced in rigging and overhead cranes.
Experience in the use of a ½ mask or full respirator and the ability to navigate comfortably through computer supported systems. US Citizenship required. RF Bench Test Product Engineer
Summary: The Bench Engineer will be responsible for testing semiconductor RF products using instruments like Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer, Power Meter, Oscilloscope etc. In addition, they will be responsible for understanding the customer product specifications, designing and assisting in the layout of bench boards. When testing complete, the test data will then have to be compiled, summarized and prepared for submission to the customer. They may have to correlate bench results with the ATE. Melanie Casey is seeking a detail-oriented bench jeweler, who is eager to learn This full-time position will be responsible for ring resizing, post and necklace assembly, and bringing raw castings to a final polish. This position will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week with optional over time.

Our shop is very small, but we are growing rapidly. We are currently looking for a sixth jeweler to join our team. Training will be provided, led by our highly skilled head jeweler who has many years of experience and an impressive background.
We believe in the benefits of technology and quality tools to produce the best possible quality of craftsmanship, so our jewelers have access to some of the best technology in the industry. We have recently converted to a paperless environment with each jeweler working from their own dedicated iPad, and we are always looking to become more streamlined and productive. The bench jewelry position will be full time, 40hours, Mon-Fri.
Optional overtime is typically available. Pay rate will range based on experience, and typically ranges from 14 to 20 per hour. Retirement plan with matching is available for all employees.
Tasks of the job include removing sprues, grinding and cleaning up castings, and hand polishing initially. We do not have a polishing buff, so nobody ever gets stuck at a polishing machine for the day Since this is a production environment, cast cleaning and polishing will always be part of the job, but as the role continues, we will add more training. Even though it will take a long time, the ultimate goal is to have every jeweler trained to bring a design from raw casting, to sizing, stone setting, and polishing.
