Position ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for efficient troubleshooting to maximize efficiencies and limit downtime
Maintain and repair equipment in operation, which includes packaging equipment, extruders, pumps, motors, conveyors, presses, PLCs, VFDs and similar equipment.
Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot machinery to ensure continuous production operations
Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
Provide scheduled PM's
Be proactive and run projects to ensure operation runs smoothly.
Work with a highly skilled, well tenured team of 20+ mechanics and electricians
Prefer Associates or other technical discipline or an equivalent combination of training and experience
1-10 years of maintenance experience within in a manufacturing environment. Food experience is preferred but not required
Equally qualified with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
Knowledge and demonstrated experience with Allen Bradley PLC controllers and variance frequency drives (VFDs) is a plus.
Programming experience is a plus
Experience troubleshooting motors, conveyors, packaging equipment, pumps, VFD's, robotics, hydraulics and pneumatics

As a Journeyman Electrician you will plan layouts, install and repair wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment for commercial lighting. A Journeyman Electrician will:

- Plans new or modified installations to minimize waste of materials, provide access for future maintenance, and avoid unsightly, hazardous, and unreliable wiring, consistent with specifications, safety codes and local electrical codes.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels; installs Buss, Busbar, electrical feeders, power systems and/or switchgear.
- Repairs faulty equipment or systems.
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures.
- Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
