Requirements include but are not limited to:
Minimum 3 years’ experience face cutting bevel gears, single or continuous indexing methods
Demonstrated ability to perform independent setups, preferably on Gleason CNC or manual generators, from basic summary documentation
Demonstrated ability to block testers to Backlash (B/L) and Mounting Distance (M.D.) specifications
Experience pulling tapes from masters and evaluating pattern requirements
Ability to perform and interpret quality checks using precision measuring equipment for index, surface finish, depth of cut, and form requirements
Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, with excellent grasp of GD & T
