Position Summary: Under general supervision is responsible for editing electronic data supplied by the customer to meet manufacturing specs. Edits customer-supplied data on graphic screen, adjusts line width, spacing, pad size, hole size, copper to edge and plating to manufacturing specifications. Creates panelization to step and repeat one up data onto panel form. Creates AOI, Drill, Rout and Artwork programs. Outputs data to Preproduction electrical test programs. Updates data to current manufacturing specifications or to customer revision changes. Modifies tooling if problems exist. Re-plots productions tooling according to manufacturing needs.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the printed circuit industry and 2 years as a CAM operator. Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
