Carelessness in operation of tooling or performance of duties could cause temporarily disabling injury to others in crew.
Works indoors near operating forge units. Constantly exposed to dirt, noise and extreme heat from hot forgings.

The Electrician Helper position is to assist in the performance of the assigned work. Experience is required in bending conduit, mounting electrical panels and junction boxes, installing and terminating electrical wiring in a clean, safe and concise manner to achieve the set goals. The helper must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings. The helper is required to follow the instructions of the electrical leads and suggest improvements.

- Be familiar with stock on hand and keep lead and supervisor advised on shortages of supplies to minimize work slowdowns / stoppage
- Keep lead man updated on job progress

- Install electrical fittings
- Drilling and knocking out holes/set up
- Knowledge and ability to comply with company’s safety standards, OSHA

Machine Helper 2Nd Shift
REPORTS TO: CONVERTING SUPERVISOR
Responsible for all activities associated with helping operators on all presses including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Set-up slotting, feed, and die cut sections on machine accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques.
Assist operator in other duties.
Monitor board quality, including - loose liner, warp, dimensions, caliper, and any other defects. Report any quality problems to the operator and sort as necessary to keep the machine running.
Work at pace set by the machine operator.
Cross-train on other machines as necessary.
Be willing to move up the line of progression to operator regardless of shift.
Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
Helps operators adhere to production schedule. Makes recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals. Reports any unusual scheduling issues to Supervisor.
Additional duties may be assigned by management.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED.

Prior work experience in the corrugated industry
6 months’ experience as a Flexo or DieCut Helper

Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.

The Maintenance Trades Helper works on a team supporting cabling, equipment, and C4ISR system installations. The Maintenance Trades Helper assists one or more workers in the skilled maintenance trades by performing specific or general duties as directed by journeyman. The kind of work the helper is permitted to perform for this application includes specialized machine operations, operation of power and hand tools to support the project, and parts of a trade that are also performed by workers on a full-time basis. Additional duties will include installation of equipment and equipment rack cabinetry, installation and termination of cabling, and operation of test equipment in ATC and Shipboard environments. A majority of the work could require climbing towers to perform duties.
Work is often performed at operational Air Traffic Control (ATC) facilities on ATC systems where extreme awareness is critical and the highest level of safety and caution must be exercised to eliminate risk to aircraft safety.
