We are currently seeking a Grit Blast Operator at our Cudahy, WI plant located approximately 5 miles south of Milwaukee.
This position is responsible for operating grit blast equipment (hose, hoists, etc.) to clean forgings.

Steel Shot Blast Operator
Do you have a mechanical aptitude and a quality background? Harrison Steel has an opening in its finishing operations for an operator for our steel shot blast.
This position is responsible for manually blasting castings to remove any non-steel particles and polish the casting finish by operating a hose that shoots steel shot at 100psi. This position is also responsible for loading and unloading steel castings, cleaning shot after blasting, and refilling the hopper as needed, among other duties.

JOB SUMMARY: To clean a variety of aircraft parts and assemblies.
I.Working from shop routers, specifications and standard operation methods, plan and performoperations necessary to assure maximum exposure to abrasive blasting operations.

Runs, maneuvers, navigates or drives heavy equipment or mechanized equipment in paint booth area, such as forklifts, cranes/overhead cranes, liquid coating equipment, trucks, etc.
Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from paint booth, blast or production areas by hand or using trucks, forklifts, or other equipment.
Follow blue prints for the coating dimensions and measurements accurately on a regular basis.
