Our Dearborn Works facility is seeking an Operations Shift Manager for the Blast Furnace. The Dearborn Works is located on a more than 350-acre site in southeast Michigan. Its carbon steel melting, casting, hot and cold rolling, and finishing operations are capable of producing 3.6 million net tons of hot rolled, 2.1 million net tons of cold rolled, 1.1 million net tons of galvanized and galvannealed sheet each year.
Supervise and provide work direction for hourly bargaining unit employees
Conduct safety contacts, observations, and meetings
Perform safety and quality audits/observations within the department to detect existing or potential accident hazards or quality defects
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, quality, and productivity performance standards
Utilize a planned approach to continually improve products, processes, and services to ensure customer satisfaction

Strong leadership, negotiation, and communications skills

Engineering Stock Keeper
The primary focus of the Engineering Stock Keeper will be to receive and disperse prototype and production parts for engine, transmission, and axle builds. The Stock Keeper's responsibilities will include but are not limited to supporting several powertrain areas including Engineering, testing, engine build, transmission lab, and the Chelsea Proving Grounds. RESPONSIBLE TO: Animal Supervisor
Under direction, performs routine work assignments involving the preparation of zoo animal diets and maintenance of commissary kitchen. Performs related work as required.

Prepares fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, and other substances for consumption by zoo animals by cutting, weighing/measuring and combining them according to dietary instructions.

High school Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) Certificate accepted or at least one year of experience in a similar position.
Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive various vehicles through city traffic.
Proof of current negative TB Test.
Willingness to work a rotating shift and rotate work tasks.
Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays, during all climatic conditions.
