The incumbent(s) in this position may be responsible for the transport and set-up of the Showmobile at City events. Essential Functions Include But Are Not Limited To Under general supervision, assists with the transport and set-up of the City's Showmobile stage. The Showmobile is a 30-foot towable unit that is towed with a Chevrolet C4500 and includes a sound system and stage lighting.
The Showmobile stage is transported and set-up for special City events, primarily on weekends and after regular business hours. Incumbents may also assist with: transporting and setting up a portable bleacher system; perform minor repairs to irrigation systems and park infrastructure including but not limited to bleachers, benches, chain link fencing, concrete paving, tile, metal fabrication, carpentry and welding. Participates cooperatively in work team activities.
Performs other duties as assigned. Enforces fire and safety codes. Insures that all event related contractual requirements are met per contract and event rider. Submits requests for purchase materials, supplies, and equipment.
Operates forklifts, Zambonis, scissor lifts, boom lifts, cargo trucks, rental vehicles, and company vehicles. Performs all other job related duties as requested.
