Manufacturing, lab testing, maintenance and/or electrical experience preferred

The GL&V USA division has a full-time opportunity for a highly motivated experienced Product Engineer to join our team in Nashua, NH. As a Product Engineer you will be responsible for all aspects of the design of an assigned product line. The ideal candidate will be a self-self-starter who possesses strong attention to detail.
• Plan and direct the activities of a global product team. Engineers, product specialists, and detail drafters (including drafters in India)
• Responsible to work with manufacturing engineering and the shop to continually drive down the cost of the assigned product lines and innovate new and better designs.
• In addition he/she will participate in the development of new equipment within his/her assigned product lines.
• Support Sales, Field Service, Production, Manufacturing, Purchasing and any other area of the organization.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Must have a Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college in Mechanical Engineering and minimum 10-15 years’ experience
• Machine Design and design for Manufacturability is required.
• Excellent technical verbal and written skills required.
• Demonstrated computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Auto CAD, Inventor as required.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Capability to handle multiple and changing priorities.
• Strong inter-personal skills in dealing with internal and external customers.
• Good design and analysis skills.
• Experience with Autodesk Simulation Mechanical preferred (FEA).
• Fundamental understanding of the pulping process preferred.
• Willingness to travel approximately 15-20% on average.
