Press Operator (Flatbed Printer-Night Shift)
Employees who print ripped files from Digital on one of the Press printers are responsible for maintaining, applying settings to and loading materials and ripped files onto the printer. These employees must request necessary materials for a job out of the stockroom, check that the material is without blemish and load the material on the printer to which the job is assigned. They must also open the file on the printer computer and check for mistakes or issues that were missed by Digital, then setup the file for printing and print the job. Then they must check that the print was correct and perfect and move it in SeaShell from the printer to the next step of the job process.

Ideally you will be available for a minimum of 25 hours per week and up to 40 hours per week during our busy season (May through September).
The Paint Technician will work under daily supervision and training of the Lead Paint Technician and is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior painted areas, repairing areas (gutters, decks etc.) and keeping the home sealed and protected from the elements at AH4R properties. These tasks are essential in preventing damage to the homes by stopping water intrusion and absorption into the interior areas of the home and building materials.
Without this protection, there could be thousands of dollars in damage and destruction to parts of the interior. A well painted home helps generate revenue by helping to lease more properties, reduces the days on market and adds to increased revenue. Description of Essential Job Functions Performs a professional standard of painting of both interiors and exteriors of AH4R properties; painting is done with electric powered airless paint sprayers, brushes and rollers; all safety equipment is worn during sprayer operation such as a respirator and protective coveralls and gloves; inspects all equipment before use; completes all scraping, sanding, priming, tapping, texturing and caulking to the existing finishes that are to be painted to remove loose materials and imperfections; mixes colors and comes up with the proper shades; deciding upon the number of paint coats that will be required; cleans surfaces to be painted by hand or using a gas powered pressure washer on dirty exteriors; prepares all areas of any paint job by covering or moving items and masking off any areas to prevent overspray; taping areas creates clean borders and also protects against spills, leaks, and drips along with covering all non-painted areas with automatic maskers, tape, masking paper, drop cloths and plastic; completes a final inspection of all work with the Lead Painter, making sure every job is completed correctly and to AH4R standards.
Completes repairs to the property being painted including but not limited to stucco, siding, decks, porches, drywall, baseboards, gutters, fences, and other types of small and medium repairs; performs sheet rock preparation for paint; repair or install sheet rock; work is always completed using the proper tools and materials. Travels to and from all jobs with the Lead Paint Technician; performs additional tasks to utilize drive time as an opportunity for learning additional systems and applications or complete admin work as directed. Completes all necessary inspections of tools, ladders, extension cords, work areas and climbing equipment such as ladders and scaffolding; responsible for the correct use of all tools.
Performs clean-up of all projects after painting and appropriate drying time; ensures that all spills, over-spray and taped surfaces are cleaned with soap and water or paint remover per product instructions; all drop clothes, masking paper, tape and plastic coverings are disposed of or cleaned and properly stored away. Cleans all painting equipment after every job including the paint sprayer, brushes, roller covers and handles to the ladders, scaffolding and PPE equipment; soap and water or paint remover applied with scrub brushes and paint rags are used to clean all equipment; everything should be dried and oiled if needed; paint sprayers should be filled with pump Saver every Friday. Follows all organizational systems, programs, training, policies, and procedures as required and complies with relevant legal mandates.

Summary Ability to perform various skilled building operational tasks as required by schedule or work orders to ensure safety and comfort of residents, visitors, and employees. Must be able to perform and/or assist with all duties of lower-level Technician positions.

Possesses knowledge on systems to isolate components of various systems such as heating, cooling, refrigeration, etc. and be able to identify those problems at least to the power source versus actual system problems to eliminate unneeded service calls and reduce down time. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three (3) years of recent full time verifiable painting experience in a transportation or industrial environment.
Experience with overhaul depainting is also required. Must have normal color vision. Must be able to lift 40-45 pounds.
Automotive and/or Industrial Painting experience is a requirement for this position. A PFT and Respirator Fit test is required; must be able to pass Government STAR4-D test. Must be available for day or night shifts and willing to work weekends and other hours as needed. Must have a valid Driver's License. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC). Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
Must be a US citizen. This position requires a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
