Production Blender Helper performs a variety of functions including but not limited to verifying spices and ingredients coincide with the current blend. This position transports all materials for blending from storage by using motorized pallet jack. Ensures work is completed in a safe manner and within the quality parameters established. This position requires the use Power Industrial Truck.
Uses PIT (Power Industrial Truck) to pick up spices from spice room and raw material
Takes materials to the Hot Dog Department
Verifies batch card recipe for current blend
Opens spice's bags and dumps them on the vat

Gravimetrically blend simple and complex mixtures into high and low pressure cylinders as specified by production orders.
Use conventional gravimetric blending methods in conjunction with liquid injections and sample cylinders to manufacture high quality mixtures to customer specification.
Proficiently perform gravimetric calculations to account for the effects of vapor pressure, compressibility, temperature etc.

Reviews SDS for all chemicals to be used prior to handling.

Quality Control and Maintenance:
Ensures scale calibrations are performed quarterly and checked weekly.
Verify minimum gravimetric add-weights are met as required by production order.
Check all scheduled maintenance is performed on time. Including but not limited to vacuum pump oil changes, manifold integrity checks, QC N2 samples etc.
Maintain accurate and current inventory of incoming and used raw materials.
Ensure prefill inspections are completed as required, faulty or leaking cylinders are taken to cylinder maintenance.
Understands and adheres to all standard operating procedures as established in the relevant Quality Manual.
Record all fill data in log book.
Complete file electronic back-calculation sheets.

Description and Responsibilities
The Jackson location creates Dry Beverage products for Kerry customers and brands. The Blender Operator is responisble for perfoming dry blending of products to ensure continuous operations by meeting production needs. This is a 2nd shift position working on our new, highly automated production lines. The hours for this position are Monday
11pm. with availablity to work overtime as needed.
The key responsibilities of this role are:
Mark and label containers or products using appropriate equipment.
Measure, weigh, and count and package products and materials.
Examines and inspects containers, materials, and products in order to ensure proper specifications are followed.
Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
Responsible for following proper procedures in regards to defective products or materials.
Reports all food safety and quality problems to personnel with authority to initial action.
Demonstrates a positive attitude and relates in a positive manner when interacting with all personnel.
Demonstrates a sense of urgency to accomplish assigned tasks.
Understand and comply with all HACCP, Allergen, Environmental, regulatory and customer demands and requirements.

Primary Function: Responsible for surface finishing and initial formal inspection of castings in order to meet external quality requirements.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Selects appropriate finishing equipment and tools.
Finishes castings while maintaining dimensional tolerances.
Understands and uses measurement tools to ensure proper dimensional tolerances.
Visually inspects castings for defects.
Makes determination whether part goes forward in production process.
Documents weld maps accurately.

Making product batches per recipe, under quality specifications
Review daily schedule for the blending area, based on production work order and schedule
Organize daily tasks efficiently based on scheduled batches
Follow recipes and instructions. Collect, weigh, mix and meet quality specifications
Verify each ingredient with quantity and lot number on the work order
Be able to mix any batch independently and correctly, with limited supervision. Have a full understanding of the complete blending process from start to finish
Be able to provide in process tasks such as cleaning, scraping, capping or hand labeling for the poured product such as deodorant, 2oz or 11oz products, whipped shea, etc.
Complete all necessary quality and production paperwork
Return all ingredients to storage area upon completion of usage
