SUMMARY OF POSITION:
This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all color matching and mixing equipment. The incumbent conducts draw-downs and prepares and blends customer orders to meet their specifications, while maintaining detailed records of their work orders and formulas.
Prepare customer orders, including blending initial batch, making shade adjustments, filling and labeling batches.
Make shade and gloss adjustments to meet customer requirements.
Use Phoenix System including generating COA's and QA sheets.
Prepare spray-out and draw-down test panels.
Expense miss-tints daily.
Establish and maintain accurate customer work order files and formulas.
Ensure customers' quality and service expectations are met.
Clean and repair store equipment
Identify facility/equipment problems and make recommendations.
Operate all material handling, tinting, mixing and testing equipment in a safe manner.
Properly store all partial containers to correct inventory location.
Provide input regarding inventory levels in the warehouse/stockroom.
Identify potential obsolete/damaged material and handle per established policy/procedures.
Maintain daily clean up of lab, product service room and equipment.
Maintain facility to S-W standards through proper maintenance, repair and housekeeping.
Follow designated loss prevention, security and safety practices according to policy and correct or report non-compliance of appropriate procedures/policies.
Take immediate action to contain spillage using hazardous material containment procedures as outlined in the Work Safe Manual, including proper and timely reporting.
Assist with general warehouse, delivery and customer service duties as needed, including loading and unloading of material and waiting on customers.
Know stock limits and be familiar with stock order procedure.
Assist with physical inventory
Help manage PSR expenses as required.
Other duties as assigned.
High school education or equivalent is required.
Ability to work all scheduled hours as needed.
Employee must have a valid driver's license.
Employee may be required to retrieve material from shelves and lift and carry up to 50lbs and up to 100 lbs. on occasion.
Must be able to tint paint, therefore, must be able to distinguish one or more chromatic colors.
Employee must be able to tolerate non-toxic paint odors and be able to wear a respirator as required.
Employee must be able to operate a hand truck and/or material handling equipment.
Employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via the telephone.

Knowledge of GMP's Works in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.

Operates pasteurizers to ensure products are pasteurized in accordance with product specifications.

Obtains tanker/silo or container samples in accordance with Company s policies and procedures and delivers samples to Quality Assurance Department for testing. Maintains solid communication with Production, Planning, and Quality Assurance throughout the process and during shift changes.
Washes and sanitizes silos, tanks and production lines using approved CIP methods Performs all necessary quality checks and testing as determined by the Quality Department or Management.
Follows instructions and responds to management or lead direction and complies with new policies or standards of operation.
Writes and speaks clearly and informatively and able to read and interpret written information.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and completes work in timely manner.
Able to deal with and adapt to frequent change, delays, or unexpected events and reacts well under pressure.

Dry Blender Operator
Dry Blender Operator
Your future position?
As a Blender Operator in the powders department you will make powders and seasoning blends. You will also clean and sanitize associated manufacturing equipment and production area.
In this role you will:
Daily Operations: Retrieve set-up pallet and deliver to the batching rooms. Review the set-up pallet to ensure all the ingredients are present and in the correct quantities; add raw materials into blenders following proper handling and dispensing procedures; operate the blenders, screens, sifters, and other production equipment. Set up and break down the equipment and make the necessary adjustments.
Organization/Sanitation: Complete the daily work schedule and daily paperwork as directed and report any delays to Leads and Supervisors. Keep work place clean and organized. Perform end of day cleaning and sanitation of associated work areas and equipment. Perform allergen changeovers and other in-process changeovers during the production day according to company policies and procedures.
Safety/Quality/Compliance: Ensure all products are produced in compliance with the company standards and applicable laws. Utilize safe and proper raw material handling techniques. Pay careful attention to and follow food safety policies and procedures. In addition, you will contribute to the overall safety of the department by interpreting and understanding SDS safety warnings and pictograms. Compliance with all OSHA & GMP guidelines.

2nd Shift Position
The primary purpose of this position is to file, grind, polish, and/or deburr turbine component apparatus and blades; to inspect blades, check the dimensions of blades according to manufacturing specifications. Perform blending and material removal with minimal supervision according to manufacturing and customer requirements.
THE FOLLOWING ARE THE MAJOR JOB DUTIES BUT THIS JOB DESCRIPTION DOES NOT PRECLUDE THE PERFORMANCE OF OTHER DUTIES BY THE INCUMBENT.
Receive assignments, verbal and/or written, from supervision.
Route and blend turbine components.
Use blending tools and equipment, including large belt sanders.
Use precision measuring equipment for in-process inspections and interpret results
Visually inspect parts.
Belt sand and blend to the original contour of the part or as required by work instructions.
Notch and route cracks and remove sections of the part as needed. Polish areas requiring weld.
Remove/blend plasma overspray, excess weld, and braze.
Round off edges of airfoil on buffing wheel.
Change belts on belt sanding machine and burrs on die grinder.
Read and interpret traveler/documents and other specifications to gather work instructions.
Grind, smooth and polish airfoils and leading/trailing edges of assemblies.
Deburr bridge welds; measure, mark, and scribe bridge widths using calipers; operate hand grinder to blend welds and finish surface to meet tolerances prescribed.
Follow established procedures to work with welded repair airfoils, tri pins, and ring segments.
Lay out and grind closing and/or last blades.
Follow proper JHA as appropriate for the operation that is being performed.
Create and maintain proper information logs pertaining to blades(s).
Mark and/or record other production information, manually or using computer equipment as indicated.
Notify supervision of irregularities or equipment malfunctions.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
Maintain clean, safe, organized work area at all times.
- This position requires a high school education or equivalent. Requires the ability to read, write, complete simple forms, and understand simple written instructions. Requires the ability to perform math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; also requires the simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, or diagram.
- Six months experience in working in a structured production manufacturing atmosphere. Knowledge of chemicals, grit-blasting, safe machine practices and techniques is beneficial. Ability to use hand held measuring tools.

- The equipment used (various shop & hand tools) should not be damaged under normal use and care. Misuse may result in considerable damage to specific parts or equipment. Routine maintenance of the equipment is required
Moderate physical effort required with bending, stretching, walking, and standing. Gripping and grasping tools is common, as is the use of mechanical controls such as buttons, knobs, and levers. Some repetitive motion is involved in the execution of job tasks. A crane is available for lifting and carrying parts, fixtures, or cutting tools, which may weigh up to 50 pounds or more.
Constant mental and visual attention required to perform repetitive and variable responsibilities. Normal or corrected vision required.
- Possible contact with coating materials, fumes, and chemicals. Safety goggles/glasses and safety shoes are required for safety in the production area; ear protection, gloves, full face hooded air supply respirator, throwaway coveralls, and aprons may be required when completing some operations of the job.
- Care should be taken in the operation of equipment and in lifting and moving materials and tools to avoid accidents that may result in lost time injuries.

Description and Responsibilities The Jackson location creates Dry Beverage products for Kerry customers and brands.
The Blender Operator is responsible for performing dry blending of products to ensure continuous operations by meeting production needs.
The key responsibilities of this role are - Adjusting necessary machine settings on blending equipment, troubleshooting when necessary.
Ensuring all blends are placed into the blender correctly utilizing process control sheets and proper protocol and accurate paperwork at all times.
Making necessary changes to ensure batches meet quality requirements.
Adhere to all quality, safety, GMP and sanitation system and requirements Qualifications Must have a good attendance record and ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays when needed.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs repetitively, stand and stoop for long periods of time with our without a reasonable accomodation Good mathematical aptitude, with ability to add, multiply, subtract, and divide.

This position is responsible for ensuring all related equipment and area is performing to production standards while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
This position is responsible for operating the blender in the Flour department. A blender is a large industrial mixer.
This position is responsible for tasks such as monitoring the blender, making adjustments as needed, reporting any issues to the supervisor or lead and to fill out various log sheets. This position is required to follow all Tyson safety rules and to complete Lock Out Tag Out Training. This position will be exposed on a routine basis to warm temperatures ranging from 65-90 degrees, wet and or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas, and concrete floors.
This position also may be exposed to air borne particles, and a noise level loud enough to require hearing protection. This position will require walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50lbs on a frequent basis. All other assigned duties given by supervisor.
