Contract to Hire (6 months)
Milling: Adhering to batch sheet instructions to mill required material. Calculating supplemental ingredients and material issuing on IREN via computer/scanner.
Blending: Adjusting scale based on batch sheet to fill required weight of boxes/drums. Following batch sheet to abide by product specific requirement for filling boxes.
Sealing & Stacking: Operating MTEK sealer to vacuum seal filled liners. Ensuring finished packaged product conforms to company standards and arranging products on a pallet in a predetermined sequence.
Sanitation: Adhering to SOP instructions to clean and sanitize equipment and room.
Minimum 6 months experience in warehouse/manufacturing environment. Must be able to lift up to 55lbs., push up to a 450lb. metal drum on a roller conveyor, and stand for prolonged periods. Read, write and understand the English language. Follow proper housekeeping and sanitary GMP procedures to prevent product contamination; use clean tools and utensils, and properly stored or hung to prevent product contamination.

Duties & Responsibilities
Prepare all assigned records, calculations, and documentation.

It is the operator’s responsibility to ensure that the equipments used for e.g. Mechanical Sifter, Granulator, Fluid Bed Dryer, Fitz Mill, and blenders are clean and set up properly. It is operator’s responsibility to perform visual and physical checks of in-process and finished materials as per procedure of Production Batch Record. Essential Functions:
Operator’s responsibility includes:
1. Clean and/or disassemble the equipment e.g. Mechanical Sifter, Granulator, Fluid Bed Dryer, Fitz Mill, Blender after the completion of product run as per SOP.
2. Clean manufacturing room after the completion of product run as per SOP.
3. Set up the equipments as per Sop’s, and as per specifications in Production Batch Record.
4. Maintain the equipments in good working order, inspect equipments for wear and tear, and have any worn or evaluate malfunctioning parts and report to Production Supervisor or Manager.
5. Maintain equipment parts and supplies in proper condition.
6. Make any machine adjustments necessary during the batch run as required.
7. Document all set up and cleaning in the log book and other pertinent paperwork.
8. Visually inspect equipments as it is running to verify the machine is running within normal and safe operation.
9. Take in process measurements of during the product run, and document these measurements in Production Batch Record.
10. Keep the equipments and room clean during the production.
11. Make sure all paperwork is complete and accurate throughout and after production.
12. Keep accurate records of equipment usage and inspections.
13. Perform any and all additional tasks relating to the operation of the manufacturing department as requested.
14. Follow company policies, cGMP’s and Standard Operating Procedures.
15. Physical Work Activities and Exposure:
A) Work is regularly performed inside in a manufacturing environment.
B) Exposure to dust, odor, noise, and fumes.
C) The noise level is usually moderate.
D) Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
E) Frequent sitting, talking, or hearing.
F) Use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects or controls.
G) Walk short distances. Clean and/or disassemble the equipments after the completion of sifting, granulation, drying and milling, blending activities.

As a Machine Operator in our Dry Blend Department you will be responsible for batching raw materials in preparation for the blending process and assist within the batching room.
In this role you will:
Gather materials and package product in quantities as instructed in the shop floor.
Complete the schedule as laid out by the planner each day and report any deficiencies to the supervisor as needed.
Complete inventory adjustments for shop floor Via RF.
Maintain proper documentation (such as OEE, metal detector paperwork, RF transfer/receipts) as required.

ABOUT THE JOB
STAUBER has an opening for a third shift Machine Operator at our facility in Florida, NY (near Middletown).
Operate equipment such as roller compactor, high shear mixer, dry powder blender, or hammer mill processor, troubleshooting and adjusting for "in process" action as needed.
Accurately weigh and blend various components to a specified formula
Accurately fill out Master Batch Records and other required paperwork, including recording operating data such as process conditions, test results, instrument readings, inventory sheets, etc.
Maintain and follow all safety, quality, and sanitation standards and regulations, including working in accordance with cGMP standards at all times

Destruction Technicians serve customers by accurately processing and destroying all materials delivered to the production facility. They sort material and operate forklifts and other machinery.
