The Mat Roller processes clean mats for load building and delivery to customers. May process other products such as mops, shop towels, Facility Services items or fender covers. Performs other tasks as required. Essential Functions:
Transfer carts of clean mats to mat rolling area.
Unload carts, inspect for quality and roll mats.
Sort mats and load into other carts, load building area, route loads, storage or trucks.
Process other products such as mops, shop towels, fender covers or Facility Services items for load building and storage.
Move loaded or empty carts/bins within the production area.
Operate forklift when necessary.
Continuously meet efficiency and safety standards for the position.
Comprehend and follow instructions as directed by supervision.
Perform other tasks as required.

Recognize colors and sizes, count and sort accurately.
Inspect and grade product within standards.

Physical Demands consist of heavy work, of continuously standing, reaching, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, pushing, seeing, hearing, reaching overhead, stooping and lifting up to 60 lbs.

Asphalt Roller Operator
Perform asphalt roller operator duties described below on an asphalt paving lay down crew.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Operates tandem or three wheel steel roller for compacting newly paved asphalt surfaces.
May oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments to the equipment.
Operates from platform of the machine and moves levers, pedals or throttle to move and guide the machine.
May guide and direct dump trucks while backing up to the hopper.
May perform other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications & Training:
One year experience but will train the right person
Encourage a valid NC Driver's License
Willingness to learn multiple tasks of the paving operation.
Ability to abide by precise instructions and strict but necessary safety rules and policies.
Must be a reliable/trustworthy team player and maintain a good attendance and safety record. Tasks Essential to Job Functions:
The job requires the following motions: standing, walking, stretching, bending, lifting, pulling, twisting, throwing, reaching and squatting.
Requires regular lifting of or in excess of 25 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Walking and standing may require a full day of 12 to 15 hours.
Will be exposed to sometimes extreme hot and cold temperatures.
Overtime work is required.

Some pieces of equipment may be computer numerically controlled (CNC). This position reads blueprints or process sheets for specification such as dimensions and tolerances, tooling instructions, feed rates, cutting speeds, depth of cuts, and cutting tools. Selects proper equipment, including tooling, fixtures and accessories, to complete the task. Adjusts machine settings to provide the best quality part with the greatest efficiency.
Reads and understands measuring tools such as angle and degree square and tape measure. Utilizes measuring tools to verify product quality. Loads and unloads raw material and completed product, at times with overhead hoist.
Will operate CNC machines that have been previously programmed. Performs and documents level 1 TPMs. Works in a safe manner at all times, following all safety guidelines
