Essential Job Functions The worker is responsible for ensuring that the finished material exceeds the visual criteria for the particular grade that is being packed. Perform salvage duties by using horizontal band saws to trim defects and generate ware that is acceptable. The worker sometimes sets off ware by manually removing ware from the line and placing it onto pallets.
Inform plant supervision when equipment is malfunctioning and request aid as required from maintenance personnel. The worker is required to have basic operation knowledge of the horizontal facers, edge grinders, slicing saws, labeler, and shrink wrap machines. Dispose of defective or unsalvageable material by feeding it into scrap crushers for recycling. 7.

_ * Bachelor s degree in Planning, Public Policy, Government, or a related discipline.
Interest in affordable housing, community development, and disaster recovery programs. Preferred Skills/Experience: * Previous experience in housing and community development.
Previous experience in natural disaster recovery.
Knowledge of Federal disaster recovery programs (CDBG, CDBG-DR, etc.).
Experience working in a public agency, consulting firm, or non-profit organization. Professional
* Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities.
Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
