- Required skills in using standard woodworking tools, both manual and power, as well as pneumatic sealers, heat sealing and vacuum equipment, nail guns, and strapping tools.
- Must be extremely customer focused and capable of short range planning, analysis, and the ability to understand the processing of parts and also have the following additional requirements traits: Must have a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines.

Repairs defective containers by replacing damaged parts, and/or fabricate containers from wood and fiberboard including pallets, Dunn age and restraints. 99. Inserts wood bracing’s, cardboard files and felt pads in containers. 99.
Builds crates around objects using ruler, hand tools and pneumatic nailer, and ensures items are properly preserved, packaged and do not require further protection before shipping. 99.
Fabricates, repairs, modifies and replaces woodwork on vehicle sides and beds. 7. Preserves items, as required, prior to packing. 8.
Packs, seals, bands and applies markings to crates and containers. 9. When required, package items in constructed boxes, crates, pallets, etc. 10. Inspects commercial furnished railcars for serviceability and complement of equipment necessary for loading. 11.
Assists and directs the tie down of Military Vehicles/equipment and MILVANS loaded onto railcars. Assures all is tied down, blocked and/or braced IAW Military and Transporting railroad specifications. 12. Prepares cargo for shipment, obtains GBL/CBL from outbound freight and loads freight on commercial conveyances. 13.
Conduct rail loading and tie-down classes for military personnel. 14. Performs other duties as assigned in a warehouse and/or outdoor environment in all types of weather. Qualifications
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: PC and other office equipment, woodworking tools (saws, staples), forklift WORKING ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Extensive interaction with the customer is required. Work requires long, strenuous hours and being able to work under pressure.
May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, weekends, and holidays. Work is generally conducted in a warehouse environment. However, duties may involve the conduct of work in the out-of-doors area with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions.
Work will require lifting up to 50 lbs; stooping; climbing; prolonged standing; prolonged sitting; and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required is certain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published Company work rules. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
Experience: Must have a working knowledge of various power saws and basic woodworking principles. Two-year woodworking experience and knowledge of packaging and preservation principles and techniques preferred.
Must possess or be able to obtain a forklift license. Knowledge of rail loading and tie-down of military equipment preferred. Must possess and continuously maintain a current State of Colorado Driver’s License.

Diesel experience is required.

Senior Program Manager

As Program Manager, Business Strategy and Management you will work with the Group Program Manager (GPM) for Azure Government Engineering (AGE) to build, run and grow the US Government business area by: 1.
Creating and managing scalable business strategies and operating structures including a team RoB, customer/partner engagement protocols and follow ups, team action tracking, systems to document and track blocker removal, amongst others. 2. Taking initiatives and new ideas from concept to execution on behalf of AGE GPM and the team. E.g. building customer ready.
EBC kits and blueprints by case study, tracking project costs and returns vs. investments 3. Coordinating with key stakeholders across Microsoft to improve alignment, develop joint priorities with commercial and field teams and drive customer focused results 4. Looking left to right across the business area to drive efficiencies and creative solutions to business problems as the team grows in size and scope.
You will partner closely with ?????the AGE GPM to shape the mission of the team, lead and contribute to special projects, as well as help develop the value system of the team. You must have the ability to think strategically, but also execute effectively at a tactical project level. This exciting opportunity is unique in that it straddles both our Engineering and Commercial ambitions, combining a diverse mix of accountabilities across program management, product development, marketing, sales and finance.
Business Strategy: You will drive strategic initiatives and provide thought leadership to both the AGE GPM and the all up AGE team. Identify issues that impede business group success and provide solutions/recommendations.
Identify opportunities to create cross group collaboration and synergies. Orchestrate team design conversations and facilitate successful implementation of organizational plans. Provide insight and advice to the leadership team around operational excellence, headcount, resource and fiscal planning, participate in overall group strategy decisions and assist in implementing policies and procedures while focusing uniquely in maximizing the effectiveness of the AGE GPM lead, helping them balance priorities, communicate effectively and participate in the most relevant meetings, while helping them connect with the team by translating dialogues into actions and/or projects that achieve the business groups expected outcomes Business Operations:
Lead and coordinate the internal ROB and improve processes to run the business efficiently. The Business Manager will establish the Rhythm of the Business for the team, and work with Finance and HR organizations to coordinate business processes and management control processes etc. Partner with finance and the procurement to ensure effective budget management and forecasting.
Partner with staffing teams to meet hiring requirements and elevate staffing conversations with the LT. Be dotted lined to the group Biz Strategy and Management function in making sure all initiatives, outcomes and decisions accrue towards the broader AGE goals and priorities. Be the single point of contact and coordination for inputs into broader AGE operations and RoB, including providing line of sight into the planning for major industry, customer, partner and internal events.
Business Planning: Partner with the AGE business strategy lead, and specifically with the AGE GPM team, to manage the planning process ensuring coordination with C+E planning processes, as well as planning integration across other MS stakeholders. Work with cross-division and cross-company/team counterparts to manage team participation as needed in strategic business planning activities, field summits, events, master calendar/ROB management, LT processes and agenda, including follow through, action tracking, and related communications.
Participate as a valued LT member who can offer synthesized business perspectives relevant to influencing key strategic decisions. Communications: Plan and manage team meetings including All Hands, staff meetings and manager meetings. Establish and maintain communication vehicles.
Manage the AGE GPM (HM) agenda and external communications (partners and customers) for customer/partner engagements, speaking engagements, and key events ensuring successful and impactful use to time. Knowledge Management: Identify and implement knowledge management tools and sites to ensure effective cultivating, maintaining and sharing of team knowledge.
Identify a CRM-like took to track customer and partner engagements to ensure coordination of effort and effective tracking of engagement status. Groom and cultivate a repository of materials around the US Government market sector, including industry reports, white papers, and financial reports to best support driving cloud adoption in the US Gov vertical. Reporting: Ensure routine and consistent reporting to Azure Government and Azure Ecosystem leadership on key areas of the business.
To the extent possible, work with the team on automating the reports out of task and knowledge management repositories. Team Development: Help make the Azure Government Engineering team and organization a great place to work in Microsoft by partnering with HR and the leadership team to shape and drive the people agenda, lead team health initiatives including participation in the WHI v-team.
Partner with HR to drive MS Poll action planning for the team. Orchestrate team trainings and brownbag series to contribute to ongoing development. Define, plan and drive cross-team process improvements (e.g., team recognition, development of business plans and RoB) Special Projects:
Drive high-impact cross-team projects as needed to meet the changing business environment and ensure the team is achieving commitments. Successful project management, including work with internal SMEs, and sometimes external agencies, on strategic efforts that require hands-on experience across multiple functional disciplines and business organizations. • BA or BS degree from an accredited university or college • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience working the US Government market sector serving State, Local Government or Federal (including Civilian, Department of Defense or the Intelligence Community). • Previous Business Manager/Chief of Staff experience either at Microsoft or in US Government Exceptional communication skills are expected • Ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment Self-managing leader who takes initiative 20% travel will be required Willing to obtain a US Government Top Secret Security Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) if needed.
