Our client, a leading manufacturer of metalworking machinery, is seeking a strong candidate for a Press Brake Product Manager role based out of the Buffalo, NY area.
In this role, the Press Brake Product Sales Manager will serve as a product expert on the line of Press Brake products, working alongside the Sales Engineers and Sales Reps out in the field, helping them become more successful in closing sales in this particular product line.
The person in this role is responsible for the sales of the press brake products all throughout the United States.
The position will be based out of the Buffalo, NY area, and will have 35%-40% travel throughout the US, supporting the sales team. In addition to supporting the sales team and helping to close new customers and new sales, this person will also help develop market data and strategic planning initiatives.
They will be involved in new product development and helping to enhance existing product lines. This role will report directly to the company’s Vice President.
Requirements: A qualified candidate for this position will possess, at minimum, an Associate’s Degree with a technical/mechanical focus and ideally a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Management.
In terms of experience, candidate should have 2+ years of capital equipment sales experience, and 4+ years of sales experience with the metal fabrication industry. The candidate should be open and willing to travel as needed. The ideal candidate will be located in the greater Buffalo, NY area.
