Executes predetermine methods to package product by the press or store as work in process. Performs visual inspections to detect obvious defects. Keep box counts in order to document the quantity of product being produced.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Package products at the press by following predetermine methods to minimize error.
Consistently meets production requirements.
Empty catch totes into gaylord where packaging at the press is not specified.
Perform basic visual inspection of product and report any quality defects to the shift supervisor.
Keep production area clean in order to promote a safe and neat work environment.
Packaging and labeling
Report any and all safety violations to the shift supervisor to ensure the working environment is free from safety hazards.
Engages in the daily operator maintenance program such as basic oiling of machines.
Collects data for Production Boards.
Performs other duties as assigned
Ability to understand and follow all safety procedures including but not limited to PPE, steel toe safety shoes, maintaining safety guards, etc.
Ability to tend to more than one machine at the same time..
Ability to use basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, counting and the use of tape measure.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Up to three months of related experience.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to use the required personal protective equipment at all times including steel toe safety shoes.
Requires ability to walk, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, bend at waist, and climb ladders or equipment.

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and chemicals.

Our die cast parts are used in automobiles, motorcycles, generators, snow mobiles, lawn mowers, washing machines, power hand tools, BBQ grills, commercial lighting and many other well-known products. The Cambridge Division is one of Pace's longest-running facilities. Founded in 1945, Cambridge has been providing contract manufacturing die casting worldwide for more than 65 years. A 300,000-square-foot facility provides a large environment for expert manufacturing services.
Keep the holding furnaces on the die cast machines full of proper alloy of metal and at proper temperatures. This process, called hauling metal, must be done in a safe, efficient, and timely manner as to keep production running always while minimizing costly mistakes such as overfilling furnaces, overfilling ladles, spilling metal, letting furnaces run too low on metal, mixing alloys, etc. Must safely and efficiently support the production requirements and assure the proper alloy is provided for the parts being cast.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Keep transfer (bull) ladles, furnace, and die cast holdings properly cleaned and/or heated.
Keep scrap hoppers emptied and identified.
Keep alloys separated. This applies to all metal including those stored, in any furnace, or in scrap form.
Keep all areas cleaned including but not limited to melt rooms, work areas, tools/supplies and properly stored. Daily chipping, cleaning, fluxing, and skimming of breakdown furnaces. This also includes Striko Holding Furnaces. (clean, fill funnels, and pouring spouts. Coat as needed).

Properly handle paperwork, sampling, and barcoding of all incoming metal/materials.

Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to read and understand written directives. The predominate forms of instructions are written, visual, and verbal.
Properly handle all department paperwork including labor cards, production sheets, check sheets, metal hauling sheets, barcodes, audit logs, furnace cleaning sheets, scrap cards, flux/dross cards, etc.

Responsible for continuous boiler operations and operation of portable boilers on an as-required basis. Must be able to adjust a wide variety of boilers for maximum operational efficiency.
1.Monitor boiler feed water to ensure proper water conditions to prevent mineral deposits and corrosion in the boiler.
2.Perform preventive maintenance actions and perform boiler fueling operations.

Communicates daily with Executive Chef and/or Sous Chef in charge, providing current information on large parties of expected VIPs.
Opens/closes shift, including management of daily logbook and pre-meal team briefing.
Reviews and completes daily payroll in meeting operational productivity standards.
Manages the delivery and measurement of guest service within assigned department(s) consistent with the company's core service standards and brand attributes.
Manages dining room and kitchen activities to ensure quality production/delivery of product and service.
Interacts with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of dining experience. Reacts to any guest complaints and takes any appropriate action.
Performs all other job related duties as requested.
At least 2 years college education in a related field, and/or equivalent work experience in food and beverage.
At least five 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
At least three 3 years of management experience in a fine dining restaurant or casual service restaurant.
Excellent customer service skills.
Able to lead and mentor a team.
Have interpersonal skill to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
Previous experience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Previous senior management experience in upscale dining.
Advanced knowledge in beer, wine and spirits.
Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
Press Assistant I - Roll Tender

Quad/Graphics is currently seeking a Press Assistant I to work in the Nashville Tennessee Retail Plant. As a member of the press crew, the Press Assistant I (rolltender) has previous experience as a Press Asst. II (stacker) and is able to perform the duties of both positions and may be asked to do so from time to time. Key responsibilities of this position are to manage the paper supply inventory on the press, feed rolls into the press, and manage paper inventory. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to product handling and stacker oversight.
- Previous experience as a Press Assistant II (stacker/jogger)
- Previous roll tender experience or training required
Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts. This includes days, nights and weekends. Also holidays as needed.
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (12 hours)
Must be able to repetitively lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend occasionally
