1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available. Shift premium provided to off shifts.
Blow Molding machine operators will work under the direction of the production senior lead/supervisor to ensure that the company produces the highest quality products safely and efficiently. The blow molding machine operator will be responsible for operating, setting up, troubleshooting, and maintaining machines throughout the shift.
- Set up and operate blow molding machine to mold plastic products according to specifications: Turn valves to start flow of water and release air pressure to machine.
- Moves machine controls to set timing unit and temperature of heating unit and start automatic feed mechanism.
- Adjust machine mandrel and align mandrel with mold chamber, using wrenches.
- Start molding machine that automatically feeds material from mixing unit to mandrel and to mold chamber.
- Closes chamber to mold product under heat and pressure.
- Regrind excess material and unsatisfactory product for reuse, using grinding machine.
- May weigh completed work-piece to determine accuracy of machine operation.

The Roll Tender is responsible to assure set-up and actual jobs meet quality parameters and are completed on time. This position monitors efficiencies and assure jobs and personnel assigned to them are completing assigned work. About This Role:
Under supervision, the Molding Machine Operator operates molding machines, trims excess flash, assembles molds, boxes finished product and conducts final product inspections.

1.Loads and unloads cores and other inserts into molds.

OR, accepting applications from candidates in other industries who have had strong experience running complex automated or semi-automated production machinery to learn the blow molding business. $15-$21/hour which depends upon your experience. - Operate assigned Rocheleau blow molding (Mat.Tech.I), Bekum, Kautex blow molding (Mat.Tech.II), production line equipment to maximize High 5 Operational Metrics: Efficiency, Quality, Safety, Engagement and Resin Loss.
- Independently perform machine adjustments within allowable parameters, perform routine machine maintenance tasks and minor repairs on all production equipment, including molders and peripheral quality equipment on assigned lines.
- Identify and recommend improvements and support all company continuous improvements activities. Work with plant leadership, set up and maintenance to implement improvements. Sustain 6S program in the production cells, supporting team members and reporting repeat variation to leadership.
- Ensure adherence to customer specifications and accurately document all records related to downtime, production, scrap, repairs, process deviation, etc.
- Act as a mentor and technical resource for other team members and new members learning technical functions.
- Assist in identifying non-conforming product and re-work of non-conforming product as necessary.
- Work safely, following all safety policies and proactively participating in the safe work of others and the safety of the overall environment.
- Perform other miscellaneous support work to enable the team to be successful and as requested by plant leadership. Assist in the duties of other team members, including helping to cover break times, etc.
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, lift or carry parts, material and product of up to 30 pounds. Must be able to grasp, pinch, reach, finger, pick, or otherwise work with fingers, hands and arms for regular tasks. High school diploma or GED. Supply your own tool set per Maintenance Required Tool list. 1 year experience performing routine scheduled Preventative Maintenance and lubrication, machine setups, product changeovers, running machine adjustments and tuning.
Must pass the Ramsay at a Production Tech II level. Ability to lift up to 65 pounds. Ability to read, write, speak and understand instructions given in English.

Injection Molding Machine Operator - 2Nd Shift
The Injection Molding Machine Operator and Inspector will be in charge of monitoring assigned molding machines and ensuring that molded parts conform to quality standards. This role will also inspect the quality of the product to determine the acceptability of the product based upon GMP and Inspection. This 2nd Shift role runs Monday - Friday from 2:30 - 11:00pm.
Duties and Responsibilities
Monitors automatic molding machines and ensures that parts conform to quality specifications.
Answers Press alarms to maximize press efficiencies.
Performs inspections by sampling for compliance to specifications (Dimensional, Functional and Visual).
Generates / prints molded specifications for proper documentation on inspections.
Reviews procedures to ensure compliance and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
Provides feedback on quality findings to appropriate personnel.
Reports processing problems to appropriate delegate for resolution.
Meets all quality, quantity and Good Manufacturing Practices to satisfy customer and Regulatory requirements.
Inspects molded components using internal gages / instruments (CMM, Calipers & etc.).
Operates measurement scales to determine machine production.
Correctly labels and identifies product for transport to Central Stores.
Maintains neat and orderly work area to ensure efficiency and no safety hazards.
Reviews paperwork for proper documentation to comply with GMP procedures.
Follows outlined procedures, safety guidelines, quality and cost standards are met in order to maintain the company's competitive position in the marketplace.
This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including but not limited to FDA, Quality Systems Regulations, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes).
Required Skills and Experience
Technical Knowledge and
High school diploma or equivalent education required.
Must be detailed oriented and have good manual dexterity and math skills.
Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel) preferred.
Knowledge and experience in use of mechanical and electronic measurement and test equipment.
Mechanical ability and aptitude necessary.
Ability to read engineering or mechanical drawings preferred.
Time management, communication, fast pace and multi-tasking abilities.
Must be organized and able to manage multiple tasks to complete all work by the end of the shift.
Works with little to no supervision.
Good decision making skills.
