JOB SUMMARY – Support the team to achieve plan by continuously improving on process efficiency and line performance. Support the NCE process and work as a team member to improve changeovers, PM's, continuous improvement project completion and other assignments outside of the department as needed. Support and actively manage troubleshooting and preventive maintenance training programs to maximize equipment availability and minimize DH. Ability to cross train in other areas of the plant will be necessary.
Maintaining, repairing, planning, coordinating and performing maintenance tasks to include unplanned failures, PM's, minor rebuilds and major overhauls on all container manufacturing equipment.
A strong commitment to the NCE process in regards to container manufacturing continuous improvements including planned and unplanned DH events.
Attend daily debrief and shift hand off meetings
Streamline preventative maintenance program to help reduce costs of operations by continually improving PM procedures. Creative problem solving skills for improvements and enhancements.
Support the SPC data collection and utilize data to perform predictive maintenance.
Data reporting – responsible for completion and understanding of SPC, EIT, SAM, SAP and daily CM responsibilities – also has the ability to assist others in learning these areas.
Work with operations team to improve changeovers, repeatability, reliability and efficiency.
Communicate, coach and train employees to continuously improve team's ability to respond to equipment failures and loss of production. Teaching people a proactive approach to minimize down time.
Support the NWNA Food Safety Management System by ensuring compliance with all FSMS-related procedures, policies and obligations. Proactive approach against any HACCP, CCP, GMP or FSMS violations in container manufacturing.
Use SAP system to generate, retrieve work orders, and parts checkout for PM completion and breakdowns
Ability to vary schedule as needed to support team or Production needs.
Responsible for factory air usage with the high pressure system.
Develop a high level of troubleshooting at a Sidel/Husky technician level to be able to resolve complex issues and pass down the knowledge to other technicians.
Read manufacturing instructions, manual and technical schematics (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic)
Complete welding and fabrication projects when needed
Involved in all department KPI improvements using the DMAIC approach (ex. – air, electrical, etc.)
Three to Five or more year's proven maintenance and operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
Must be able maintain daily operating tasks and mechanical operations.

The Blow Mold Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently performing mold setups and process development for the production equipment ensuring that the desired level of quality is being achieved for on-time delivery.
Description of Responsibilities

Oversees and manages all aspects of the blow molding organization.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities (not restrictive)
Provide general leadership to blow-molding department
Supervise and direct blow-molding personnel with all duties
Develop and execute preventative maintenance tasks specifically for blow molding and corresponding utility systems; own the blow-molding preventative maintenance plan. Execute preventative maintenance according to priorities: Safety, quality, and throughput.
Responsible to work with contractors as needed and validate work

Develop and adhere to machine KPI's and quality requirements

- Operate assigned Rocheleau blow molding (Mat.Tech.I), Bekum, Kautex blow molding (Mat.Tech.II), production line equipment to maximize High 5 Operational Metrics: Efficiency, Quality, Safety, Engagement and Resin Loss.
- Independently perform machine adjustments within allowable parameters, perform routine machine maintenance tasks and minor repairs on all production equipment, including molders and peripheral quality equipment on assigned lines.

- Candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the Blow Molding production / operations are running in a timely manner in order to meet daily production, support and distribution activities.
- You must be a high school graduate or have obtained your GED and a minimum of five (5) years experience in injection molding with good plastic processing knowledge and a minimum three (3) years in a supervisor role with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Must have the ability to coach, develop and exercise effective priorities and decisions with production staff.
- Must have machine start-up and shutdown of all injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.

Job Description & Requirements
The Blow Mold Operator is responsible for operating plastic blow molding machines and making necessary adjustments to ensure production of containers is made in a safe, efficient and high quality manner.
Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles.
Operate bagger and debagger stations.
Troubleshoot and minor repair of blow mold equipment.
Monitor empty bottle weights and makes adjustments accordingly.
Train others on blow mold operation.
Maintain communication with other departments, management and employees and notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production.
Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible and accurate format, and completed with required information. Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's.
Analyze process data and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshoot.
Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.
Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
Follow all required work safe practices. This would include wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc.
Responsible for food safety, pre*requisite programs and food quality related to designated area.
Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately.
Perform other duties as assigned.

POSITION: Blow Mold Lead Maintenance Mechanic II
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Accountable for all projects, repairs and /or improvements on the line as well as any mold changes and maintaining preventative maintenance.
Ensure proper and safe operational conditions of all production and related equipment.
Improve the production equipment, utilities, efficiency and reliability.
Recommend, plan, repair, modify, and fabricate any necessary elements following a problem or a project, which may have an effect on the productivity.
Analyze and resolve all issues related to the equipment.
Ensures cleanliness of all equipment and related areas after repairs or PM's.
Keeps all tools in good and safe condition and ensure tools are returned to its appropriate location.
Assist in updating, developing and improving equipment PM program.
Communicate to the supervisor on the condition of all production equipment.
Assist and train production employees in machine conversions and PM's.
Assist other maintenance employees with repairs, PM, installation commissioning and testing of equipment.
Assist in maintaining appropriate stock of spare parts ensuring that parts catalogue is up-to-date, parts room is organized and kept clean.
Ensuring toolbox is parked in the designated area after job is completed, top of box must be kept clean of parts and lubricants.
Assist plant electrician investigate any electrical related problems.
Direct and advise production employees in machine conversion and PM's.
Flexible-if Over Time is required and covering for vacation.
Ensuring the Hazemat area is kept clean and waste material is properly disposed of.
Ensuring the PM cart is stocked and organized.
Perform all duties, in a safe and efficient manner.
Shift Maintenance will also have the systems room checks, Pressco checks, daily shop housekeeping and Video jet daily PM's to perform.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to organize own work within the schedules in the most effective and economical way.
Able to conduct work in a manner that will bring credit to the incumbent, maintenance department and Amcor
Provincial/Industrial mechanic certification.
Knowledge in hydraulic and pneumatic
Have basic knowledge in electricity and control.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be able to stand and walk on concrete floors for extended periods of time. Breaks will be the only time you will have an opportunity to sit.
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
Must be able to lift, bend and twist repetitively during the shift.
Must be able to coordinate movements quickly and accurately in a high output production area.
Must demonstrate ability though previous work assignments to work effectively in a fast-paced high-quality manufacturing environment.
Must willingly accept any other duties/changes to position to fit the needs for production as requested by Shift Supervisor.
Must wear safety equipment, personal protective equipment, as required in the area or to perform specific job duties.
