Participate in the Quality Assessment and Assurance Program, for the nursing department, in cooperation with the Quality Assurance Committee.
Supervise the Infection Control Program by reviewing infection control reports from charge nurses, analyzing data and presenting to Quality Assurance Committee.
Assess resident equipment and supply needs, and make recommendations to the Director of Nursing Service. Complete reports and assignments accurately and adhere to established time schedules.Establish open lines of communication between all nursing personnel and consistently take follow-up action as necessary.
Will be responsible to provide activities for residents in their household, conducting programs, visits and activities geared to the interest and abilities of their elders. They will document activity participation and responses in Caretracker.
